Mariposa — Restaurant in Beverly Hills

Amazing restaurant! GREAT FOOD, ATMOSPHERE, & SERVICE!

There are too many delicious things to eat here to even list. There was a recent menu revamp and so far so good, but I'm glad the classics remain. For example, this place has a shockingly delicious burger that would give all actual burger places a run for their money.

Honestly, the desserts could use a revamp though. And I'm talking in addition to the revamp that recently occurred. I've sampled most of the new dessert offerings and other than the organic red velvet cake (which is great and super unique), they've all been disappointing. They just don't work. The concepts are good, but the execution is lacking.

The service here is always exceptional as well. A special shout-out to Anthony, Jason, and Sal who provide wonderful service. And also, all the gentlemen who assist them with service (providing drinks, popovers, etc.) are always...

When you're shopping in Beverly Hills, the Mariposa in Neiman Marcus is the traditional choice. I've been going to Neiman's signature restaurants since I was a child with my mother.

Your meal starts with a little consommé and one of their nationally known popovers with strawberry butter.

My favorite here is the lobster bisque. It's always presented beautifully and prepared immaculately.
