Cafe Salerno — Restaurant in Beverly

Driving through town and we were looking for a local place to eat and decided to give Salerno's a try and we were not disappointed. We had the steak tips, ravioli and the ravioli of the month which was lobster ravioli and everything was excellent. Their ravioli are made locally and they are very filling. The steak tips were excellent and the lobster ravioli was made in a cream sauce and they were perfect. The service was great and you get a lot of food for your money. I bought two large pizza one was cheese in the other one was pepperoni and we found plastic in the pepperoni and plastic and hair and the cheese pizza. I wasted my 31.99 we could not eat the pizza we had to throw it away. No one was wearing masks in the restaurant and they had the sign on the door that everyone has to wear masks entering the restaurant from the Board of Health. I am never going back there ever again. This is the best mf Italian food on the east coast other than my mother's house. That being said, it looks sketchy. The windows are tinted to hell and the whole outside is just just like something out of the sopranos, underground take u away forever place. I forgot our servers name but she was wonderful.
