Stopped by for the first time last weekend. The vanilla cream croissant was amazing. I snagged the last one and as I was being cashed out, she got a look on their face and said “hm this looks a little small to me. It’s the last one or I’d give you two of them. Do you want to pick out something else also?” I thought it was a honest and kind gesture, as I’d have known no different . I was just happy to support local. When I said I was all set, she discounted the item I did purchase. This level of service and commitment stands out and did not go unnoticed. Wow!! can't praise this bakery enough: their Almond Gugelhopf was absolutely amazing, as were the honey cookies that we enjoyed with freshly brewed coffee. Fortunately, we also took along some of their truffles and their dark chocolate & orange tablet: likely some of the best dark chocolate I ever tasted! It's quite amazing what they create, but then again perhaps not really, because, as they told us, they use world-class couverture (Felchlin) as basis for their chocolate items. 1st time here. Nice looking store. High end pastries & chocolates. Tried a few items: Chocolate croissant, rasberry cookie called spitzbub, a muffin type called Bailey's bread pudding & a chocolate & coconut type tort,
