I had high hopes for this place and left hungrier than when I went in. Waited 45 mins to be seated and that's usually suggestive of a great place to eat. As I sat at a high table waiting, the hostess dug in her ear, (gagging atm) and rolled her nail clean on her jeans. She then continued getting napkins and silverware ready for tables. I try not to be super harsh and understand people don't often realize what they are doing, especially when they are super comfortable. When another member of my party asked why a party of five that came in way after us was seated before us she snapped that the seating was done on table to party size availability. Pointing at the list, where we, a party of five, were listed before the party listed after us (party of five). She then seated us at a table still explaining. Our waitress was great, full of fun and sass. Megan. We ordered and appetizer, mac and cheese, two meatloaf dinners, a fish sandwich, and (I think a meatball sub). As our dinner came, we were told they forgot to put in the app and it would be coming out. Okay. Everyone in our party got our dinners and they looked good EXCEPT mine. The mac and cheese ... It was a served in a flat bottomed bowl that was swimming in heavily salted oil ... more than an 8th of an inch of oil. The scant pasta (you could clearly see the bottom of the bowl there was so little) was very cold, dry and stuck together. Mac and Cheese, right? Nope. There was less than a teaspoon of shredded cheese clumped in the middle and melted isn't a word I can use here. When I pointed all that out, our waitress said she'd be back to fix it and, apologized and also told us the app wouldn't be charged to our bill. Then the hostess popped up and offered to microwave the mac and cheese. I declined and told her to just take it off the bill. She took it and left. I'm not a chef but, I know that when you microwave dry pasta and what little cheese was on there, it would just dry it out and make it worse. I sat there with ciabatta bread, loading it with as much butter as was given, while the rest of my party ate what looked like awesome meals that were fantastically priced. (the spinach dip was cold and I just couldn't) If I can make a suggestion. Just buy and make Kraft Mac and Cheese so no one else goes through that again. I looked up the definition of Mac and Cheese and here it is Definition of macaroni and cheese. US. : a dish of macaroni in a cheese sauce. Just to make it clear ... Sauce has a definition of sauce thick liquid served with food, usually savory dishes, to add moistness and flavor. This is not what you gave me at all ... Please do better. This was an awful experience. I waited all that time for a really awful plate of what should be...

We waited for over an hour for our food, while many other groups that came in well after us, ate and left. When we finally received our food several items were just warm or undercooked. For the hour of waiting we did for our food, we only saw our waitress once... and then finally saw her after other staff members delivered our mediocre dishes. She never once refilled drinks, checked on how we were, gave updates on our food, and never once checked how the food was once we finally received it. Maybe she forgot to put in our order? Who knows since she never bothered to talk to us more than take our order. They aren't interested in serving decent quality food at all. Took an additional 30 min just to get our bill (might be more we are actually sitting here still waiting 7:30pm). Update: finally as we are leaving... she finally tells us that they have closed down the kitchen (at 8pm) since cooks frequently walk out in the middle of your shift. Shear insanity. This place is only functional as a bar... and even that we only got 2 beers each in over 2.5 hrs of sitting there...
While prices are beyond reasonable... the business suffers in it's attempts to cut costs, therefore spreading staff far too thin. Wait staff, hostess, and cooks are disjointed and can't seem to work together to succeed. I cannot imagine how this type of business continues to stay afloat. The staff cant be making many tips with this...
Read moreWARNING FOR LOCALS: THEY ARE QUIETLY SNEAKILY RAISING THEIR PRICES, NOT THE QUALITY! SAME JUNK FOOD FOR UNREASONABLE PRICES NOW.
If you're a local you know, nobody comes here for a great meal. We come here for convenience, cheap food, and some beers maybe. Let me be the guy to burst your bubble, they've raised their prices slowly. My family of 5 (3 kids under 6) with no alcohol on the bill came to $86!! We were looking at going to umi in Portland but decided to stay local and go here instead plus we figured we'd save money at the cost of getting not so quality food... The bill was damn near the same as getting sushi in Portland and let me tell you the food is terrible for that price. Locals have always known mulligan's food isn't great but it's so cheap that we appreciated the local business regardless. I'm sick of seeing businesses jacking up prices because they now have to pay more livable wages to keep employees. The owner should be at least splitting the difference with the customer but apparently we can't cramp their style because it's all coming out of our pocket. I've been coming here 30+ years and I won't be back EVER. I ain't paying for some business owners Florida condo. STOP SQUEEZING WORKING FAMILIES YOU GREEDY BUSINESS OWNERS!! I got the meatloaf and it was disgusting, absolutely smothered in disgusting salty SALTY gravy. Definitely prepped by chef Mike (microwave) and again I've eaten this for 30 years happily but for $5 not damn near $20...
