I wasn't planning on leaving a public review, but AppleHop left me little choice because they have a ridiculous 3-day time limit on filling out the survey on the receipt. It was fairly busy when we arrived, but most people were finishing up and had departed while we were waiting for our food, which surprised us since took a while to get our food. Ordering was difficult because there were several things that they were out of. When the food arrived though, the pasta was very dry on top so it had clearly been sitting under a heat lamp for a while. The wrong bun was on the grilled cheeseburger, which likely contributed to it being extremely greasy. Front of house staff was super friendly and helpful but the kitchen staff definitely needs to figure out their system better. I have a feeling it's going to be a rough first winter for them, as the available seating has far less tables than the previous occupant Sizzler. So far, I think the breakfast is great, everything else, not so much. The service was good, and it’s a...
Read moreLunch,Friday 11/7 11:30 am. ordered the turkey melt, with cole slaw side. Advetised, turkey, avocado, tomatoes, cheese. Sandwich had no avocado or tomatoes, bread was tough, cole slaw came in a very small paper cup, maybe 3 spoons full. Companion order chicken and waffle, waffle was ok,but chicken was nothing more than overcooked, dry chicken nuggets. Turkey sand. was $ 16.50 and chicken waffle was $19.95. Prices were way to high for this quality and quantity of food. I would guess that 90 % of patrons were tourists, point being during slow periods, locals will keep Applebee's open but not with this...
