Waffle House — Restaurant in Biloxi

So, Tonight I was out with some friends, we were hungry so we decided to visit store #430 in Biloxi, MS.

We were a bit skeptical at first, they were PACKED! we walked in, even though it was busy it was very clean.

We sat down at the bar and before long we had a waitress named Carolyn begin to ask us if we would like a drink, right off the bat this waitress was fun to talk to, she took our order, and within about 5 minutes our order had arrived to us if not sooner.

During our meal we chatted with the waitresses and I believe the manager (Mandy.) they were polite, well mannered, smart and witty, Mandy cracked us up as she joked with the prank callers who called every 5 minutes, asking if the refrigerator was running, instead of getting angry she made us all laugh and joked with the kids on the phone, saying her refrigerator had already run out the door.

Carolyn was quite an interesting person to talk to and was all smiles, She's going to go far even if she was to just be a waitress, she's very good with customers, and real easy going and fun to have a conversation with, which she can all do while continuing her work.

Overall for it being a packed out night, even if it wasn't a packed out night this was excellent service!

After a long day, walking , gambling and doing things we had a later hunger sneaking up on us and had to make a decision on what to do. First we checked the food in the hotel, but for the price the food looked not filling enough. We walked over to the Waffle House. We were greeted by all female workers with a : Hello , welcome to Waffle House. And it was friendly up-beat greeting , which I liked. The place was clean and all the employees looked well dressed for the job. It seems like everybody had fun. We got a table right away and were asked for what we want to drink on the spot. Checked the menu and went with the Bacon Cheesburger. AS a side I took hash browns ( they do not offer fries). Food was done fast. They forgot the onions, but delivered them hot and ready in a minute. The burger was good, hash browns were huge and good as well. Never forget, that we talk about the Waffle House here. Price was good as well. Spend 12 $ for the entire thing and the hunger was gone, the mood was up and were ready to turn in. I like this place. Across the Beau , where we stay when we are in Biloxi. OK, so it has been about 30 years since we ate at a Waffle House because in the past they did not take debit or credit cards so we avoided them. Not everyone carries cash my friends. My grandson wanted to eat at the Waffle House since he has never been to one before. Safe to say, we picked the right one.

From the second you walk in the door; you are greeted by the staff. We quickly secured a booth as they were filling up fast for breakfast.

The service is just as advertised, fast friendly and delicious. If you are expecting eggs benedict from the Waldorf Astoria in New York, you walked into the wrong place.

We had your typical eggs, bacon, hash browns, toast and coffee. My grandson had a waffle. We were just so impressed with how nice everyone, and they all seemed to enjoy working with each other since you are pretty much sitting on top of them in the kitchen.

Would I go back to Waffle House? The answer is yes if it is this one for sure. I am sure we will not wait another 30 years before we...
