If I could leave 0 stars I would DEFINITELY do that with this Tim Hortons. Me and my family go to Tim's MULTIPLE times a day. Never have I experienced such an unpleasant group of people.
I ordered at around 7:30 Wednesday night. Once I got to the window I realized I forgot to add an additional coffee. Mind you I had already ordered 3 drinks and 3 donuts, then realized I had to order a 4th. When I asked the girl at the window to add It on, I was very polite and said please. I didn't think this was an issue because all the other locations I've ever been too (trust me it's a lot of different locations) never had any issues with adding one more item to my order. She told me I would have to go back around to order that coffee. How does that make any sense? I was at the window ready to pay for my order. So I asked for a manager. The manager told me the same thing with the most outrageous attitude then shut the window before I even had the chance to answer. I couldn't believe I was being spoke to like that!!!! While this is going on there is a car behind me waiting to get to the window. The manager decided it would be a good idea to go ahead and get their order together and get out from a back door and give the people behind me their order and instruct them on how to get out of the drive thru. So I then told them I wasn't leaving and decided to call the cops because of the disrespect these people had. Technically, the order I placed was "large" for a coffee shop. Most people come in and order a $2 coffee and leave. Something these workers don't understand is good customer service is key to a successful business. These people lacked this trait so much It baffled me. These people need to get trained correctly. Maybe It was a slight inconvenience, but It takes how long to pour coffee in a cup and put some cream and sugar in there? This man took all the energy to physically get out of the building to take care of the car behind me just so he didn't give me my coffee. Absolutely Ridiculous and childish. Fortunately, Birmingham police showed up and was kind enough to take my money and order exactly what I wanted. Ordering coffee shouldn't be a challenge. It was a simple request that could have been handled in a much different manner. I can for sure say on behalf of my entire family, we will gladly take our business elsewhere instead of having to be treated with such disrespect when It definitely wasn't called for.
I will be sure to contact Tim Hortons corporation to let them know about the disrespectful employees they have representing...
Read moreI was looking for a new place for coffee and had exactly 10 minutes to spare before a vip meeting across the street, so unfortunately, I went into this Tim Hortons that shares space w a gas station off Woodward in Birmingham. Wow! What a mistake!!! I have never and will never ever go back! They said "I'll be right w you". "Ok thanks!" (sure but there was nobody waiting.) 5 mins later this guy comes in and goes right up to the front line bypassing the fact that I'm waiting to order and the worse thing is the female worker giggling like a school girl which she was certainly NOT, took his not so small order while I'm standing there dumbfounded staring at both of their clueless faces. I did make eye contact w another worker in the back, bless her heart, who was just as shocked as I was. They were laughing and joking while I'm still standing there now well over 10 mins so I walked out to leave. Would you believe the same self absorbed jacko that cut the line had not even parked in a parking spot but parked behind me and another parked car making it literally impossible for me to leave!?! Now, I'm furious and flabbergasted that someone feels they are so entitled and mind boggling rude that they can cut lines and block others from leaving too. God I'm glad I'm not like that! More though, the fact that Tim Hortons allows this type of prioritizing is called discrimination! Too bad for them since I leave 50% tips. Does the self absorbed guy that has no respect for anyone leave a tip at all? I highly doubt it!!! He was too absorbed w himself to think of anyone else!!! Never again will I walk into any...
Read moreI’ve finally had enough bad experiences with this location that I feel compelled to write a review. I work the midnight shift and stop by this location a few times a week around 9:30 PM. I would say about 3/4 of the staff I encounter here are always rude. They don’t say a word to me except for stating the total. They don’t smile, they don’t say thank you, they don’t say have a good night. Ever. Only 1 employee I’ve encountered there does. A kind word of compassion or a smile can mean the world to someone, especially when they are starting their day. As far as the 1 nice employee I’ve encountered there- there still is a problem that I’ve seen multiple times. They will hand me my coffee by holding the lid with their gloved fingers. And let’s be honest- those gloves aren’t saving anyone from any germs right now- one could imagine they are not changing them with every customer, and they are touching the computer screen and a million other things with that pair of gloves- and then handing me my drink by the lid in which I have to drink from. All in all- the poor customer service is my biggest issue and it has worn me down to the point that I’m contemplating not going to this location anymore just...
