My son and I wanted some home grown organic tomatoes and lettuce to make a BLT so we headed to Birmingham Farmer’s Market. Everything looked so good I ran out of cash which was a good thing or I would have bought everything! We also met Jay, the chef and creator of Why Bars. Delicious and healthy! He’s in several thousand retail stores. Way to go Jay! We couldn’t leave until we blew our healthy diets with freshly made cinnamon donuts! Sooo good!

With covid 19, drive-thru only, slow moving through the market, at least the first half, until the cars started thinning out. One way route does not allow comparison between vendors. I found items more to my liking at the later vendors after already purchasing earlier. Other cities have been able to allow pedestrian traffic at their farmers markets in spite of social distancing.

We love going to this farmer's market, especially because it is on Sundays. It's not big by any means, but it has everything we need. The fruits and veggies are delicious, there is live music, and freshly roasted corn, and family area. And every time we get something new. Parking can be a little far, but it's a nice walk.

I visit several times a season because several of my favorite vendors are there and I always find new people and products to enjoy. I would probably give a five star review except for two things: 1) parking can be difficult due to the market's popularity; and 2) I love dogs but when owners are distracted with people and/or products, the animals can create a little bit of a hazard, especially when I bring my mom who uses a walker. Still a great market even though this year's weird spring did seem to mean produce was later and lesser in...

as a food truck it's alot of stuff however it's parking since food truck goes inside I have to wait sometimes hour or more to find any parking or plan on walking a while as garages are usually blocked off for residents and the park have parking and that can be stressful in my case as both trucks have needed equipment etc and that's only one I can't get in as the 2nd truck as a vendor . otherwise...
