Food was good however I will never come back had a super horrible experience placed a to-go order by phone. I was told to hold so he could check the window and tell me how long before he assumed it would be ready he told me in 20 to 25 mintues after getting there 30 mintues later it and my order wasn't ready I wasn't even mad b/c I have over 20 years restaurant experience from fine dining to working for outback steakhouse from being a bus boy to being a bar manager so I am a very understandable person who no matter how much goes wrong I never get mad and I am easy to please. He asked while I wait he can go ahead and ring me up. He told me my order total was 45 bucks and some change I sad okay knowing I only ordered 30 bucks worth of food. His next question was do I want a receipt I sad yes of course so I can tip you. He then went on to say he already charge me 20% gratuity on my to go order. I have never heard of any restaurant putting gratuity on a togo order let alone one meal and one appetizer especially when working in the industry I already tip more than that always. I felt like he only put gratuity on my order b/c we I placed over the phone I told him my name was Malik obviously in his mind people name Malik dont know how tip so he put gratuity on my order. I can't remember his name but he was tall and had a i dont care attitude of course nothing will happen but I think you should train your staff better this was my first time at your establishment and I will never come back if I ever had to deal with him CRAZY because the food was actually good but I would rather spend my money where people dont judge me over the phone by my name. I worked at numerous places I opened perrry's steak house manger for outback steakhouse bar manager for courtyard oyster bar served at fox and hound list goes on at this time no place still puts gratuity on a small Togo order if any to go orders. YOU ACTUALLY GET TIPPED MORE THAT WAY PLUS ITS JUST RIGHT!!!! I visted your restaurant at about 7:30 on wednesday 3 weeks ago and I am still upset b/c it just does't sit well with me. I cant stand someone wanting...
Read moreThe Sunday brunch at Trattoria is just as amazing as everyone says -- but you can read other reviews for details about that. :) What I love about Trattoria is that their food and service is just as strong during the weekdays, when they're open from 7:30 to 10 am for breakfast and 11 am to 3 pm for lunch.
On weekday mornings, Trattoria is great for a sit-down breakfast (frittatas, grits, omelets and more) or for to-go breakfast (scones, sausage-and-egg biscuits, etc.) -- they serve Octane coffee with free refills for dine-in customers, and they make good espresso drinks as well (including house specials like the Nutella latte and the double icer). It's a great choice for a weekday breakfast, and you don't have to wait for a table like you do at Sunday brunch.
Trattoria's lunch is outstanding as well. Their Italian trattoria-style pizza (hence the name) is the highlight, and they have several varieties sold by the slice every day. But they also have a full menu of other lunch offerings, including pasta and salad. It's usually not tough to get a table at lunch either, especially when the weather's nice and the outside tables are open.
Trattoria's staff is great. They're friendly and efficient -- exactly that you need to grab a quick but delicious breakfast or lunch in the middle of a...
Read moreSmall Italian inspired brunch spot offering delicious food for breakfast goers. From their breakfast pizza to their frittatas with some polenta on the side with their homemade scones becomes part of a complete breakfast. Opens at 10 so get here on time because it’s a small place and gets full quick unless you don’t mind seating outside seating is very limited inside. Order first then find seating, self served coffee station, and if you order a latte or cappuccino look out for it because chances are it’ll be seating out getting cold instead of them bringing it to you. I recommend a slice of their breakfast pizza, their frittata, and one of their homemade scones. The slice of pizza comes with an over-easy egg on top so be prepared for molten yolk lava coming down on your pizza 😋, which compliments the potatoes on this beautiful creation. I haven’t had many frittatas in my day but from what I can tell their frittatas satisfied my hunger. The cappuccino was subpar, too much milk not enough coffee. Mind as well ordered chocolate milk. Other than that, highly recommend Trattoria Zaza for your breakfast pleasure. Enjoy my foodie...
