Wayback Burgers — Restaurant in Birmingham

I ordered through doordash and they don't have a special instruction section so I had to call the restaurant because i have an egg allergy and needed to make sure they are careful. The owner is apparently the one who answered the phone and when I tried to explain to him to make a note of that he interrupted me and said "what do you want me to do about it" and I explained i have an allergy and he said okay and hung up without taking my name or anything. Then I had to call back like 5 times before someone would answer. He answered again and said WHAT instead of hello. I asked for the manager and he said he was the owner and then said he was busy and they didn't have eggs in the restaurant and I told him there are eggs in all.of the sauces they use (mayo, ranch, some honey mustards, etc) except ketchup and mustard and he said he "didn't have time to back and forth with me". I just said okay and hung up because it was not worth it anymore. I am in the industry myself so I was polite the entire time. This is not a dietary preference I used to love eggs I wish I didn't have to do this but I could die and he treated me like I was a jerk for even calling. I tried to cancel my order but it was "too late". So don't eat here if you have any kind of food allergy. They obviously...

Okay Birmingham peeps! So I tried a burger spot downtown called Wayback Burger via DoorDash. First time seeing it, so I figured hey, why not! Who doesn’t love a good juicy burger?!

Okay so let’s talk about it!

The fries gave me life. I love a good fry. Not too much salt but just enough. I asked for bbq sauce on the side and to my surprise it was Sweet Baby Rays sauce in a cup 😩🙌🏽 whewwww! It made the fries 10x better.

The double bacon burger gave me Wendy’s baconator teas. It was good though! Wendy’s probably a lil cheaper though for those days you want to save a coin but if you want to try a new spot, try theirs instead. I took some of the lettuce off because it was way too much and I added grilled onions instead of the raw ones. Perfect combination. Other than that, I left it as is.

This restaurant has the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. We ordered online for my family of 6. We get there and they say they never received my order and I need to call corporate because there’s nothing they can do. It’s Saturday! What corporate office is opened? They continue taking orders despite I showed them my paid receipt and confirmation email. I continue to call corporate and there’s no answer. I’m standing there and it’s now been over an hour since the order was placed. She finally says oh your order just came through and walked away. At this point, I’m hungry and frustrated. I ask for a refund and they say ok, Bye! I’m like I want a copy of the refund and leave. How can you treat people spending their money this way? I’ve definitely been to better places and I will never come...
