If you consider yourself a coffee aficionado, let me introduce you to an absolute gem: a small-batch artisan coffee roaster nestled in the charming, offbeat town of Bisbee, Arizona. I stumbled upon this roastery on a trip and have been a devoted coffee club member ever since—so much so that I’ve personally convinced dozens of others to sign up. The owners meticulously source exquisite single-origin beans from around the world, delivering an unparalleled coffee experience. Every batch is crafted with care, ensuring that each cup highlights the unique flavors and nuances of its origin. But what truly sets this place apart is the heart behind it. Seth, the mastermind behind the operation, isn’t in this for profit—he does it purely for the love of coffee. His passion is evident in every roast, and he’s always happy to take the time to share his knowledge, answering any question with genuine enthusiasm. If you haven’t been to Bisbee, picture a historic town with a creative spirit, where every corner tells a story. Supporting this roastery isn’t just about exceptional coffee; it’s about championing a small, honest business fueled by passion. Trust me, your morning cup will never be the same.

We were intrigued by the banner saying ā€œAsk for a Free Espressoā€ on a storefront near the entrance to town. I suspected that if we asked, someone would say something like ā€œhey buddy, nothing’s freeā€. But I was way wrong. Seth (the owner) is so proud and confident of his house-roasted coffee that he gives away espresso on weekends to entice coffee lovers to buy his beans through the shop’s Dutch door or by mail order. I’m not a coffee guy but Sarah loves the stuff and LOVES Seth’s coffees, which he sources from small, sustainable farms and coops in Peru, Nicaragua, Brazil, Colombia, and other coffee havens. Seth is a brimming pot of coffee knowledge and he is happy to talk about coffee as much as you want. I asked if he sleeps much because he has been drinking espresso with customers all day on weekends for 27 years. He says he sleeps mostly during the week. If you love coffee, be sure to stop for a free espresso next time you are in town, then buy some beans. We took home several pounds, which Seth ground to our specs. YouTube’s Chef’s Apprentice

My girlfriend and I were visiting Bisbee because it was on her bucket list of places to go to. We were both instantly hooked when we saw the ā€œAsk for a free espresso shotā€ sign as we are heavy coffee drinkers. This place was amazing and Seth was such a great guy and host to our coffee needs and wants. We tried the Guatemala coffee flavor and it was probably the best espresso shot I’ve had to date. I was sad we didn’t go earlier in the day because we had exceeded our caffeine limit for the day. Good thing Seth was able to hook us up with a 2lbs of 4 coffee flavors: Rwanda, Timor, Peru Norte, and Guatemala which was great because you get to try them all. If you’re looking for amazing customer service and coffee experience, this place is the spot to go. He also mentioned he does shipments so I will definitely be getting more coffee once my stash runs low. šŸ˜ā˜•ļø
