I got a smothered adobada burrito. Food came hot and quick. The food was really delicious, the sauce was flavorful, the beans were creamy and the meat was abundant and of good quality. I got a side of chips and salsa that were also bomb and the salsa was really refreshing to help cut through the heaviness of the burrito. Def stop by here if you can. Spoke to the owner for a few minutes and you can tell he’s a good guy. Definitely recommend this place for a warm, delicious bit to eat.

The owner was very warm and welcoming. We had a burrito which was very good and the shrimp salad was my favorite. The shrimp was yum. We were served nachos and salsa and it was probably the best salsa I've had. When we finished it we were served one more basket of nachos. The ambience with all the colorful decisions was also very nice. If we were to visit the area again we would definitely return. Prices were reasonable as well.

I really wanted to like this place. It is conveniently located at a perfect point to stop for lunch between our trips to LA from Reno. First the good: The hostess was really welcoming and lovely. Kitschy and interesting decor. Unfortunately the bad: The good was uniformly mediocre with the Plato de Birria overly sour and lacking balance. The flautas were fried in oxidized oil and had an off flavor. So disappointing.

If you find yourself in the Bishop area craving authentic Mexican food, look no further than the local favorite Taqueria Las Palmas. I've been a loyal customer for years, and it's become a tradition to stop by whenever I'm visiting family in the area.

The star of the show is undoubtedly the beans - they are cooked to absolute perfection with just the right touch of seasoning. Of course, no trip is complete without ordering one (it's giant) of their incredible fish tacos. Each bite is fresh, flaky, and full of flavor.

The care that goes into the food and service is a testament to the owners, Francisco and his family. They have been running Taqueria Las Palmas for generations and their dedication to quality is evident. Francisco makes it a point to greet customers and make sure everyone is having an outstanding dining experience. His full menu of tequila offerings right up on the wall never disappoints.

Beyond the food, the atmosphere at Las Palmas is lively and inviting. It's the kind of place where everyone knows your name. I always feel like I'm among friends when I eat there.

For unbelievable Mexican cuisine served up in a warm, welcoming environment, Taqueria Las Palmas is a must-try. The beans and fish tacos alone are worth a special trip, but the whole menu is incredible. I can't recommend this Bishop gem enough for locals and...

If you are looking for the best Mexican food on the way up to Mammoth, I highly recommend stopping by Taqueria Las Palmas Mexican Restaurant in Bishop, California. From the moment you walk in, you are greeted with a warm and welcoming atmosphere that immediately puts you at ease. The menu is filled with delicious and authentic Mexican dishes, all made with fresh and high-quality ingredients. The portions are generous and the prices are very reasonable. I highly recommend trying the carne asada burrito, which is filled with tender and flavorful beef, and the fish tacos, which are always fresh and perfectly seasoned. The service at Taqueria Las Palmas is top-notch, with friendly and attentive staff who are always willing to make recommendations and ensure that your dining experience is enjoyable. The restaurant is also very clean and well-maintained, which is always a plus. Overall, if you are looking for delicious and authentic Mexican food on your way up to Mammoth, look no further than Taqueria Las Palmas. You won't be...

Ok you might as well know that I base all Mexican resteraunts on salsa, beans and Chile Rellanos. The salsa fresca came standard and was so so, but remember this is Bishop, Ca. Never one to be let down I asked for something hotter and then came the gem. A Salsa Verde so good it would mask any future disappointment to come. But that would prove to be unneeded. The Chile Rellanos was transformative in its delicious preparation. I'm still not sure what that ingredient was that made it so special. That may be because the owner makes such an incredible Margherita with fresh limes that I was epicoursly impaired. Oh yea the refried beans were of course, classic. Finally I must say the family who owns the resteraunt was seated at a big table up front and eating take out pizza. They were an amazing group of cackling relatives obviously partaking in a beautiful ritual. I felt very much at home and later very much distressed at my...
