Sarpino's Pizzeria Bloomingdale — Restaurant in Bloomingdale

This place has gone down hill. I ordered food last week a bit late it was for delivery. The delivery person first sent me a text that my food was delivered I called the resturant some Indian guy seemed to answer and asked what was going on that I didn’t see my food but it said it was delivered . He said he was gonna call the driver and call me back. He called me back and said the address for another delivery looked the same, I get it mistakes happen . But once my food arrived they forget my vegan marinara sauce, I once again called the resturant which same guy answered and called his driver once more it took 10-15min to just to bring back the sauce between those 10-15min I called the resturant letting them know I was not going to wait forever for some sauce and if I could have a refund. They said the driver was almost there I told them fine leave it at the door no contact delivery. They kept calling and I told them leave it by the door but the driver still did not listen and insisted I open the door which I did because I was not only annoyed at this point but also mad. Like what does the driver not get about NO Contact delivery! I am writing this review a bit late because not only was my food late but I was also sick with food poising after I ate the pasta and vegan cheesy bread for about 3 days. Used to love ordering from here, won’t be ordering again. I get maybe not wanting to work so late hence the mistakes and laziness so don’t but also does not mean that its okay to be lazy with food maybe don’t stay open till 3am if we are going to be lazy...

tl;dr - call me and tell me you're running behind, you might lose my business for a night. Leave me waiting for hours and unable to contact you, lose my business forever.

Half an hour after estimated delivery, I tried to call the restaurant but they did not answer any time I called. I had to contact grubhub support, who eventually said they spoke to the restaurant and had been assured food was on the way. 40 minutes later, I still didn't have food. By the time grubhub support cancelled the order, it was 3 hours after I ordered and 2 hours past their delivery window. At no point did the restaurant try to contact me to tell me there were delays or they were busy, giving me the opportunity to cancel and make other plans. Their neglect for even the basic decency to inform customers that they are behind and complete abandonment of the phones, preventing the ability to contact them and ask for an update, is simply inexcusable. Given this gross negligence and lack of professionalism and respect for the customer, I will not be ordering from here again and will also be advising everyone I know to...

I have ordered from Sarpino's, for many years, from different locations, as I've moved, or while visiting friends. Rarely have I been dissatisfied from any one, but Bloomingdale is especially my favorite. Here's everything I love about Sarpino's.

Late delivery. I work nights and I'm so happy I can order when I get home. Great specials/coupons. I always order online, and I love the deals and the reward points. The pizza is delicious. Many people may consider this just another "fast food" pizza place, but the ingredients are actually much more quality than any other chain. Toppings. They don't skimp, and have a lot to choose from. Order a couple of their x-large specialty pizzas, and be prepared for the delivery driver to drop about 10 lbs of food in your arms. Awesome drivers. Always courteous. I love the pizza GPS tracker, I always know right when to go to the door! Johnny is my favorite, had him many times, super nice guy.
