Starbucks — Restaurant in Bloomington

It is important to note that this is probably the busiest location in Bloomington due to its location on campus. I am taking into account this fact when writing this review.

This location is incredibly disorganized and unprepared. I have visited on various occasions when they have been out of lids, straws, certain sizes of cups, whipped cream, cup sleeves, and when machines are out of service (like both espresso machines, taking out a large portion of drink options). I would say the majority of my visits have been when they have had supply or machinery issues. Don't get me wrong, I understand that sometimes these things happen. However, these instances seem to happen frequently. It makes me question the ability of the "higher-ups" that should be handling inventory and management of this location. If these issues were addressed, the quality of the location would increase dramatically. On a side note, the baristas are always kind and seem to handle pressure very well. They are likely not at fault for the lack of supplies.

At the end of the day, it's just coffee (there are two other coffee shops in the IMU if needed). If you must have Starbucks, take a short walk to the location on Indiana Avenue....

Staff were rude. Usually order via mobile app, and it glitched and sent my order to the incorrect location. first time this happened, I assumed it was my fault, (and they were much nicer about it) and then the second time they argued and protested making the drink, despite me calling the other location and providing my mobile receipt to show I did make the purchase.

They then took my order and told me they would make the drink. stood around and waited for the drink for over 15 minutes as they set the cup on the counter and continued to serve guests who arrived...

Dear God. Let me tell you one thing. NEVER EVER go to this Starbucks during the day. It took them 20 minutes to NOT make my order. I just left. There is literally one step to making a black coffee. How on Earth did it take them so long?? It would have been faster for me to walk to California, order from a nonbinary person (because they're the best at making coffee), and walk back. By the time they'll have put my order out, my beard will be gray and rolling onto the floor. Do NOT, under any circumstances, come here...
