Sunset Sweets & Heat — Restaurant in Blowing Rock

After a wonderful walk on the cone manor trail..we stopped to get some magnets..it was a small shop filled with lot of souvenirs. For the love for local foods..we went to the downstairs sunset sweets and heat shop....the guy on the counter was a very nice to let us try lot of unique flavors of icecreams..I loved the tipsy peach, we got apple pie and Lil blue panda for the kids..they loved it so much..we also did some tasting of heat sauce flavors..gave a nice punch..walked down the lane..sitting in one of those benches..it was a beautiful way to end a day while...

Tracy was very rude towards my kids for popping their popper gun. Then she made sly comments to someone else "that popping noise is getting on my nerves". Mind you my kids popped it about 2 times before she interjected and said "we ask only 2 pops". Are we for real? If you don't like that noise don't sell the product. Jack made excuses for her behavior, that kids pop it all day. That's not a customers problem who is...

A great novelty foods store. They have lots of unique candy options. Got chocolate covered gummy bears for my son. You can get ice cream which was good. They have sodas in glass bottles which are better in my opinion than canned drinks. Lots of locally made coated peanuts and chocolates. If you want hot sauce this is the place for you! You can taste test a lot of their items prior...
