Edit to previous review: 6 March 2018: Raising my rating to a 5 star. Came back today for lunch since we wanted to try the pizza or pasta. Wife and I both opted for the lunch special pizza. You get a LARGE slice of pizza, with side salad. The pizza is brick oven made with handmade crust, absolutely delicious. The salad is a basic salad but it's very fresh and good. You also get a drink, all for $9, which I and my wife believe to be the best deal in town as far as a meal deal, for quality and price. Ken the owner and his staff are great, and we will definitely make it a place to eat and drink whenever we're in town. 5 March 2018: I'm going to give this place a 4 star since it's our first visit here and it wasn't spectacular, but I will revisit since we didn't try the pizza or pasta and that may be why. We visited on March 5th, 2018 around 8pm. I had the Philly cheese steak deluxe. The sandwich was put together well as far as proper ingredients, but 2 problems with it: too many green peppers and too dry. The green peppers were fresh, and they were diced which I thought was great, but there were so many of them, and too many green peppers in any sandwich or hoagie takes the taste away from the rest of the sandwich. Otherwise the meat and onions and mushrooms were good. It's was very dry tho, needed either a little mayo or sauce or maybe more cheese. My wife had the buffalo chicken wrap, which she asked for grilled. She liked it. Server was awesome, I didn't get her name but she was a shorter brunette young lady, very pleasant and professional. The place itself is set up like a bar and grill, but stylish and friendly feeling. Open cafe style.

This was only our second time there and it was very much a disappointment $75 for two of us that includes one medium Pizza pepperoni with onions, didn't have many onions on it? And the pizza was flavorless, We also had two awesome incredibly tasty Greek salads. That was the highlight of the experience. Good job!, I got the Philly cheesesteak stromboli which was okay. Not too bad. We also ordered five wings. Now there might have been some miscommunication with the waitress. She said if we ordered the 10-piece I could get the habanero mango. I think I got that backwards. The mango habaneros and my wife could get the regular two wings with her choice of sauce but they bought us out two orders of wings which were mediocre nothing right home about. That's about as fair as I can get. We probably won't come back to this place but like I said to each their own the salads were great. The restaurant was very clean. The servers and waitresses were on point. Maybe it was an off day. I don't know we got there as soon as they opened. Oh yeah by the way the first four pictures was from the first time we went there and it was absolutely fabulous.

I ordered the build-your-own stromboli, and my ingredients were ham, sausage, pepperoni, mushrooms, green bell peppers, and jalapenos for a little kick. It was very large, the photo is the 2nd half of it. This was my first visit since it changed names and eliminated the buffet. The bell peppers were slightly undercooked, which left them crunchy but more flavorful than if they had been steamed or sautéed. The dough was slightly overcooked, which made it a little more crisp than I thought necessary, but with the cheese and all of the ingredients, it was overall a good lunch. It took a while for our party of 5 to be served, possibly only marginally staffed for a Tuesday lunch. For the base menu price of a build-your-own I felt like $1.00 per topping was a little bit higher than it should have been, it wouldn't have been quite so bad if I hadn't loaded it up. Maybe the build-your-own base price should include 2 toppings and then each additional for $1.00? All of my coworkers said their choices were very good as well. I didn't give 5 stars because of the speed and price, but I would go back again.

Update from review below. Management, I hope you are monitoring- Something has changed in the last few months. We go here a couple times a month, and probably will go back, but something has definitely changed. Food quality has dropped, service is still OK, but not like it used to be. I held off on writing this update until after a few visits, because everyone can have an off day. Today we went and my wife and I both ordered wings, at the same time obviously. Hers came out almost 10 minutes before mine did. Not that that is a big deal, but why wouldn't you bring them out at the same time... Not slow service, but not prompt either. I would have ordered another glass of wine if the service had been faster. And a few weeks ago when we were there, it was a mediocre experience at best. Barely acceptable food, but the worst part was watching the couple in a booth across from us. The gentleman ordered a hamburger and his wife one of their normal house sandwiches. The wife got her food in a reasonable time but the husband waited an extremly long time for his burger. They were there before us, and we were basically done eating our meal, as was his wife, by the time he got his burger. The waitress kept saying, "We don't sell many burgers is why it is taking a while." What does that mean? Only thing I can guess is they had to send someone out for buns or something. But if that is the case, you tell the customer you are out of burgers and bring them something else, in a reasonable time. The gentleman was pretty tolerant of the situation, but you could tell he was getting pretty irritated by the time his food came out. Management - again, we have been here a lot, for years, and I'm telling you something is not right in the last few months.

Earlier post - We are locals and this is one of our normal go-to's. Owners: Do some advertising, please. I know it has been a while, but I can't tell you how many people my wife and I have talked to that thought you went out of business when you moved from your downtown location. We did too until we just happened to drive through your parking lot 2 years later and see you had moved. Locals like your restaurant but they have to be able to know...

So I'd like to think I'm a nice guy and give people a fair shake, but I have never dealt with a more rude waitress in my life!

After attending a Veteran's day ceremony today where the owner was the guest speaker I decided to check them out. I expected it to be busy since it was mentioned to a crowd of 50+ and I was correct. We had to wait for a table to clear, but that was expected and I was totally fine with it. We were seated and after 5+ minutes the waitress took our drink order and we also ordered our appetizer and meal. Drinks came quickly and the appetizers did as well. Somewhere around 30+ minutes I enquired about our food since I had noticed orders placed after ours had already been served. The waitress's response was this, I don't know I don't work in the kitchen!!! Are you kidding me?! What about "let me check"? Anyways, when the order came out she wasn't sure what order belonged to who and part of it was cold. When asked to get silverware it was received with an attitude as well. Then when enquiring about getting a refund for the cold food during mid-conversation she said ok and just walked away. After getting her attention again she then walked away saying loud enough for the other patrons to hear "RUDE". That was it! I requested to speak to the owner ( that I personally met and spoke to less than 2 hours earlier). He was in the kitchen busy as could be due to short staff. I informed him that he needed to get his waitress in check and he said he'd take care of it (though not even looking at me). Either way she had already spent the tip she was going to receive! Surprisingly she was a bit nicer after that l, but that milk was already spilt. I was so angry that I couldn't even finish my meal.

I don't know if I will ever go back. I wholeheartedly support Veteran owned businesses as I am one, but their staff can ruin all that hard work and ruin their reputation as well. This area has a very large expat population and are loyal to places that they are taken care of. They've got to make up some ground with me now!

Be the judge for yourself but, you've been warned. Maybe I just had a bad waitress...

Group of 7 arrived to the restaurant before 2pm. Our waitress was pleasant but totally disorganized. After 5 minutes we told her the 7th person was not coming, she then went to get our drinks and didn’t return for 15 minutes. We ordered our food (fried food) at 2:15 then two people got their food at 3:05, and other two people got their food at 3:15, the other two got theirs at 3:30. At 3pm we asked “have our tickets been put in, if not we will just leave no big deal”. The waitress said “yes it’s in it will be two minutes”. The restaurant was not busy for context. Some of us didn’t get the correct thing. We tried being polite through the interaction as we all understand that things just happen. Finally we asked to speak to the manager to just see if we could get a discount for the 1.5 hour wait time. The waitress went to ask for the manager then returned saying that the manager said no, he would not give us a discount. Then we said, please ask him to come to the table. Kevin finally came to the table. He was immediately hostile with everybody at the table, stating “we aren’t fast food what do you want” , that they had a really hard day that they were really busy pretty much everything except I’m sorry. Literally not an ounce of customer service. He then tried to talk down to us saying assuming we weren’t from the area though we all are locals. Then after he made everyone extremely angry, he goes “just tell me what you want” after we had clearly told him what we wanted. We were willing to eat what we ordered though the experience was awful, but after speaking to the owner Kevin we were all no longer hungry and simply wanted to leave. I am so disappointed with the service we received from both Lisa and Kevin. If Lisa had just said out the gate “hey we are short staffed” or whatever the issue was we would have just gone somewhere else, but the lack of communication from the waitress spiraled into a nightmare confrontation with the joke of an owner. The resolution was a 20% discount. If everyone was just having a bad day, I wish you a better one tomorrow. But a bad day isn’t a reason to bring everyone else...
