It's a Waffle House, so you kinda know what to expect, but each is a tad bit different due to management and staff, and this one seems to have a friendly & efficient crew. While a bit crowded during my family's visit, we didn't have a wait before sitting down. The food was cooked to order, coffee cups kept full, and our waitress - an elderly woman - was a great pro in the business, and as a former business manager, I got pleasure in seeing how well she ran her job. VERY efficient and an old hand at blowout lunches with a big crowd. Despite the demand the crew seemed great - streamlined work flows and few words needed exchanged to get a job done on a busy, busy day. I was quite proud of them when we finally left, and they aren't even my crew! 😂 Restaurant was clean - from what I could see, behind the counter, too, and the grill kept clean. Even the males bathroom was clean despite the rush. I can't speak for the females half. I get the feeling that this Waffle House, being on a "major" route, stays somewhat busy - but they are able to handle it in fine fashion with efficiency, good food and a quick smile. We'll done, in my opinion.

Read moreI give 4 stars bc depending on how busy they are it is hard to get anyone to stop and take your order. I usually go in to get to go order...and it takes 10 minutes or so before anyone actually realizes I have been standing up at the high top. The last timw I went it took about 25 mins to get my order after placing it. Last night it was pretty full...I finally placed order and 45 mins later after the place really filled up; I got my order with some stuff missing. They were also out of to go bags; luckily I had a reusable grocery bag. I had to run to my car and get it so I could carry my to go plates out. Which by the time they were making my food they had every seat full and people waiting for seats. It just seemed like once I paid for my to go order, no one cared to finish putting my food in containers and getting it to me before it say there in front of the cook getting cold. I am reasonable though and realize that it can be over whelming when it is that busy. Just did not realize 2 all star breakfasts, Texas bacon patty melt, 1 biscuit and gravy and 2 orders of bacon was $40! But oh well...just choose wisely when you decude...
