The absolute worst service... I ordered and paid for a washer on May 17, 2020. I was told it would be delivered 5/23/2020. I called and made sure they had the correct address and phone number. The washer didn't come and I was told "the driver couldn't pull it up on GPS". NO call and no delivery.
They said we would go to the back of the line which meant another week and half on a farm without any washer. I called and spoke with Ray the Operations Manager at Home Depot and he said it would be take care of it. The delivery company called and said it would be delivered on June 2nd.
I called back to Home Depot and they made all the notes on my account. I have spoken to 4 different people there and made sure they had my correct number as well as turn by turn directions. I called on June 1st and made sure they had the correct number again and turn by turn directions. June 2nd came and no delivery....
I spoke with Eli on June 2nd and he ensured me all the notes were in there as well as the directions and the correct number. He said Anita would call me first thing in the morning and that they are giving me a $100 discount on the washer. Great but I am still running a farm without a washer and spending more on the Laundry Mat that the discount. I called everywhere I could in the area to get a washer of the same quality and couldn't get it before June 2nd.
Eli said Anita would be calling the delivery company to find out why they were not following the notes that clearly had my phone number, address and turn by turn directions. This morning no call from Anita so I called and the woman helping me said Anita said the delivery company would be calling me within the next 5 mins. No call. I called back and spoke with Anita.... Suddenly my phone number is not anywhere on the order etc..... Remember yesterday when Eli told me it was in there as well as all the notes.... Suddenly these notes disappeared and it is my fault that the washer couldn't be delivered.
Truly the worst service I have ever had. Up until Anita blatantly lied I was going to return to Home Depot as I have been a long standing customer and before me it was my father. Now.... NOPE! DON'T LIE TO A CUSTOMER AND GET SNIPPY SAYING YOU WILL PRINT OUT THE NOTES TO PROVE YOUR POINT AFTER ALL 3 OTHER EMPLOYEES SAID IT WAS THERE AND I HAD NOTHING TO WORRY ABOUT..... I would not recommend this Home Depot and if I could give a negative rating I would....Honesty is the best policy.... Honesty goes a long way...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI ordered an extra large Halo Griddle with a cover and grilling tool kit , on line. The biggest cluster , I've dealt with in my life. The first driver texted that he was in a 16 wheeler and nervous driving in the mountains. I gave him grace because he said a smaller truck would bring the griddle on the following Monday. I got no text or call from that driver, but received a text that my griddle was delivered. No it wasn't! It was dropped on the main street in front of my mail box. I spent 3 days of my life on the phone trying to either get the griddle delivered to my home or taken back for return. Every person I spoke with was from India and had no idea the layout of the land or how to solve the problem. I called the delivery service and was put in an eternal loop of not being able to speak to a person or schedule a pick up. On the 3rd day I called my local Home Depot and spoke with the the manager, Laura. At first she had several solutions to choose from, but when I chose the one that made the most sense to get this expensive griddle off a main street where it could be stolen, she changed her mind and said I needed to deal with the online service. GOOD LUCK with that!!!!! I will never shop at Blue Ridge's Home Depot or their online site again. I was told I'd receive a refund in 3 days and then received an email that I would receive a refund after the drivers that had no brains, and dropped off a large pallet at the main street in front of my mail box, instead of my home, picked it up and delivered it to Home Depot. It's still is sitting on a busy street where it could be stolen and no one has an answer or solution. The biggest scam I've ever dealt with. I will never spend another dime at Home Depot. There is another store in Ellijay that will get my business. Home Depot in Blue Ridge won't help, because they will have liability to move it from the main street to my home. The solution I chose was to return it with the local store and they'd pick it up, but she changed her mind and gave me another number that she said she spoke with an American that could help me. I called that number and got another person from India that could not help me. ...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI've been to some bad home depots before but honestly i think this one takes the cake on being the worst. the layout of the store is one of the weirdest and worst I've ever been in. on top of that if you go onto the home depot app that I use all the time and look for products its gonna take you to the wrong place. how is your store not even matching the app. and just to clarify yes I made sure I was at the right store. Again I use this app very often and know how to navigate it . I've also never had a bad bag of mortar until now . after looking at the date code I'm pretty sure the two bags I got were from June of 2020. needless to say I had to trash a whole bag. the cost of the bag isn't the big part the cost of my time , gas , wear and tear on vehicle , etc . on top of putting me several hours behind schedule ; is the part that I wont ever get reimbursement for because I shouldn't have to eat that cost and neither should my client. came back and found a new pallet and got bags that the date code reads march of 22. guess what it mixed and set how its supposed to. quality control is a big thing.
on another note i want to say that as a company you need to place people in the right positions for them. no by no means am I trying to say women cant do certain jobs but i am saying certain women aren't able to do certain jobs. the little lady loading 10 plus bags of something on the other side of the grout yesterday was struggling. but yet I walk out to leave and see this big bald bearded guy just standing there talking to another employee. it just really upsets me how your company is ran all across the nation. put people in the jobs that they will benefit you the most as well as not hurt themselves. some women can handle throwing heavy things all day just like some men can. other men and women cant and its not their fault. Corporate America needs to remember that you work for us not the other way around. without employees there is no you. so start carrying about your employees paying them properly, training them properly and putting them in the right...
