Some of the people I have spoke with on the phone have been super nice and understanding of my situation with my paydays changing but a lady just spam called me a few minutes ago like 3 times back to back and when I answered I told her I was at work and I would pay on the 21st. I also work with dogs and was in the yard with them so they were being super loud. she was extremely rude and and basically said that’s not how rent a center works and that they were going to come get my item (disclaimer: I’m only 2 days late) she said on the phone they give 7 day lenience period. She then was like your breaking up (because of the very loud dogs) and all of a sudden changed her attitude when I mentioned she was being rude and only then would she actually help me after I called her out. Upon walking in the store I was greeted quickly. Also as he watched his kids jumping all over the furniture and eating food donuts trash all over the floor food on a loveseat he was trying to charge me for $1,800 and there was a bunch of stains and rips in the loveseat. Clearly shoe prints of children all over everything the store is ran down tore up in the business is not right. When is it okay to have our children at our job trashing the furniture you are trying to sell? How can you try to charge such a high price for furniture your children are trashy? They do not like renting to Black people. My credit score is pretty average. They went through the entire process of the application and even scheduling my delivery appointment. After they got the copy of my drivers license which shows my picture, they called me right back and said that I was not approved. They were able to tell me it was not my credit nor rental history.
