Lovely, little Italian market, family owned, and so delicious. I love going here because I'm treated as if I am the last customer on the planet. Jimmy C's knows customer service. Even better, the food is fantastic. I try a few new things each time I visit. Yesterday I brought home an individual serving (a generous portion) of their homemade Italian Wedding soup. By far, the best Italian Wedding soup I've ever had -- with homemade meatballs with fresh ingredients. I tried their chicken cutlet last night, which was another home run! Their NY Crumb Cake is homemade, and probably the best I've ever had. Jimmy C's offers homemade prepared foods. Their bakery and dessert offerings are mostly homemade with a few that are brought in by good quality companies I know and love -- nothing cheap about this place, all good quality products with great people who are there to serve you with great conversation and a smile. They really appreciate their customers. I feel like I have a little slice of "Moonstruck" in my backyard. Give Jimmy C's a try. You won't be...
Read moreCuriosity brought me here. I've passed the place a million times wondering what's inside. First of all, this is one friendly place. The staff actually acknowledges you before they are able to assist you. I'm pretty picky about my Italian deli/food as I grew up in NY and lived amongst the best of them. I ordered a hero sandwich and the Italian bread was to die for. The side of potato salad was excellent. I love red potato salad and will be returning for more. I also got some ravioli soup to go which I have not tasted yet. I will go back to try some of the Italian food such as the meatballs. The young very smiley happy young lady took my order and an older gal packed it up and I paid her. All was done very fast with the woman saying, here ya go boobie as she handed me my order. So sweet as boobie was a term of endearment my Godmother...
Read moreUnfortunately did not get to try Jimmy C's. As I entered there was a line and I was finishing a coffee. I go to throw away my coffee..one less thing to carry as I order lunch.... The lady at the counter, hopefully not the owner... was a disgruntled misplaced New Yorker who decided it was good for business to yell at me for throwing away my coffee. " We do not accept trash from other businesses" I was so startled I was left speechless and left without ordering. Unfortunately for her- I was hoping to have a good experience today to prepare for an executive retreat that we need catered. If I could give zero stars that is what I would have selected. People like this give south Florida a bad rep. Will not be back, nor will any of my associates. I would think in the economic climate Hospitality standards would...
