I rocked up to Wok’n’ Roll on a chilly Monday afternoon in March. I was surprised how quiet the Warehouse (the food pavilion this and many other food establishments are located within. Think: indoor beer garden but food instead of brews) I read over the menu and chose a BYOB build your own bowl option and waited as the poor gal helped a customer at the counter complaining that they didn’t have water cups. The huffy, immature tantrum kept up, this grown man harassing Amy, the VERY patient and lovely employee calmly explaining why she didn’t have water cups. Finally the mouthy and obnoxious man moved on. From this preliminary interaction I saw Amy deal with- I think she deserves the Nobel Peace Prize if not at least a statue erected in her honor and a definite RAISE! I ordered my food, received a stellar food/sauce recommendation, was also given another restaurant suggestion for when I’m in Caldwell AND! AND complementary appetizers! Little cream cheese and veggie samosas that were so crispy and delicious! My food was piping hot, fresh, customized to include multiple options not listed on the menu and all with such sweet and down to earth service. Both Amy and Tiger were so helpful, funny and have me local food recommendations. It feels like your family I. The way they take care of you! Go here, eat here, live every th ing and repeat. Tell them Morgan sent you. It’s heaven in earth! Edit: I ordered a B.Y.O.B with half jasmine rice/ half soba noodles, mixed veggies, grilled chicken, yellow coconut curry sauce, a little Gucci sauce on top and added scallions, cilantro, onions, jalapeño & sesame seeds. All this for only $15!!! The bowl was massive and easily could have been made into two meals if I wasn’t such a ravenous monster today. 👹 Mind blowing. So. Dang. Good!

I ordered the Korean pork tacos from Wok N Roll, and flavor-wise, they’re on point. The pork was delicious, and the staff were friendly. But here’s the problem: The menu shows three tacos, so naturally, I expected three. Nope—just two. And for $14 plus tip, that’s $8 per taco. Let that sink in: Eight. Dollars. Per. Taco. Now, I’m all for paying for good food, but this is a food truck, not some gourmet rooftop restaurant. If you’re going to charge that much, at least be upfront about what you’re actually serving. It's one thing to make tasty food; it's another to make your customers feel like they’ve been tricked.

We have eaten here many times before. About 6 weeks ago the chicken changed. It went from sliced breast chicken to inferior chicken that is over cooked. Two pieces I couldn’t even bite into it was so tough. This is unacceptable for a place that charges $35 for two bowls. I will pay extra for quality food but this is not it. It’s sad because the food selection in Boise is already awful. I gave this place another try after commenting on the chicken. Guess others don’t care what they eat. No changes.

“Phaco” = Pho + Taco - the meat from Pho wrapped with cilantro and put in a tortilla and dipped in the pho soup (saltier than the actual pho soup)

The Warehouse was GREAT!

We brought a large group and everyone could eat whatever they wanted.

We chose the Wok ‘N Roll. It was very good. As others have said, a bit pricey, but that’s to be expected in a downtown location such as this.

The “phocos” were excellent!!

Everyone loved the food and atmosphere.

It would have been more fun of Zoe and everyone else had come,...
