Okay Burger King. This is by far the worst experience yet at a Burger King. We have the app, looked at it. Also looked at the website to see what is new. Tried ordering the Ultimate Bundle through the app, wouldn't take it. Ok not an issue. Pull up the code online and go to Burger King. The drive thru cashier is arguing with my husband that he can't use the phone code because it wasn't printed. Even though it says online or in store. No where does it say you have to have it printed. Just click here and redeem within 15 minutes. The cashier gets who I am assuming is the manager and is still arguing about the coupon. We ask why you can't take it and they keep saying because it's not printed. So my husband is at the window and they tell him to pull around and come in. He says no, he has the code. There is a huge line now, so he pulls around and the door is locked. So the manager kicks him out of line to a locked door, hoping he would give up. He gets back in the drive through line and they tell him to go the window again. He asks why would send me to a door that is locked. The cashier just looked at him, " we are drive through only". They ask him what his order is. He has the code and the cashier tells him she can't see the code. He makes it bigger, she tells me again she can't read it. He makes it bigger,. She tells him, just give me the code. Really all this hassle and we just had to tell you the code. Using a coupon shouldn't be this hard. The staff might want to check what promotions are happening so they stop arguing with a customer who can prove what is available. To top it all off, we unpack the bag when we get home and we were short two cookies. Not going back to this...
Read moreBy far the worst fast food restaurant that I have ever visit. Service was horrible from the ordering to the food. Stopped here yesterday order 2 #1 meals which clearly does not include bacon, hot peppers, or any of the other mess that was on the sandwich. Started at the window the worker never greeted me, literally just seen that I was using my phone and handed the card reader out of the window, no receipt was given, Next I received my food from a young lady standing at the window no hair coverings, nails long and black, a coat on who still didn’t greet. On my way to work I opened my sandwich just to find that there’s Bacon(pork) hot peppers, the meat is barely cooked and dripping juice from it. Mind you I clearly asked for No onions/no tomatoes( Seeing that I’m allergic) all of that and more was on the sandwich. I called the store spoke with a young lady who began laughing thinking that my complaint was funny, she advised me after me asking that she was a manager but refuse to give her name. I than spoke with Jose who advised that he was the manager Jose continuously insist that I bring the food back after me explaining 10+ times that’s I’m not from Bolingbrook and was already near work in Aurora, Jose refused me provide me with the phone number to Angelica( potential GM of the store) or corporate after me explaining several of times that this is a dangerous situation and of my allergies. Read moreThis burger king has been steadily going down hill. The previous visit, the person assembling my whopper, had his gloves on (thank you), until he wiped his nose with his left gloved hand. I requested that he change his gloves to the management, they told him to do this. He threw a mini fit, and tossed his gloves, walked away, came back and put new gloves on.
This visit, i ordered my meal. I sit down to eat, onion rings are cold (not luke warm, COLD), i requested hot onion rings. Most places toss out the batch and make fresh. Not here though, they dumped my onion rings into the batch of other cold onion rings, then proceded to re fry the whole batch. First, that is unsanitary as hell, they have no clue if i did something to my onion rings that could contaminate the oil, and foods.
Im not a complainer, and rarely say anything if there is a small issue. The previous visit, i had emailed corporate, the response was vague and cookie cutter, "thanks for your input", no resolve was given. I will no longer be patronizing this...
