Please not EVEN 1 star!, I ordered a gyro burger from there last night 2 pizza puffs the was extremely burnt! And some poppers. I specifically requested only gryo meat on my burger short guy said ok whatever you want man I said thank you. I get my food and I check it there looked at the deceiving burger had very little gryo meat on it and the beef pattie Hidden once I made it to work. It was sloppy and the Taziki sauce was not real!. I was so upset after spending nearly $30 bucks for my order to be nasty! and incorrect!! And folks think this place is sooo good!! WRONG! I'm from the city westside.. I know good food and that ain't it! Food poisoning/upset stomach will result eating from this place!.. AND then about 2weeks ago me and a co worker was going there (short guy yall know who I'm talking about) was sweeping or mopping the floor he looked up at us and continued, do you they was closed and he didn't even care to waive us off!!! The other one in Woodridge ain't no better either.. cook your own food! Everything is cooked in the same grease! Place should be called heart...
Read moreOn my 1st visit, I placed my order by phone. I thought the price was off but I didn't pay it no mind. I ordered a 2nd time. I asked for the feta on the side assuming they put it on the gyro because that's what I'm used to. Again, the price seemed high, but so was I 😵💫, so I didn't pay it any attention until talking to my daughter about the food & price. So I look at my receipt & there is a $6 charge for feta cheese. There are many things wrong with this. #1 Nobody ever said there is an extra charge for feta. I would have said no thank you because I didn't want it on the sandwich. #2 They gave me blocks of feta for the gyros. A sandwich only has a few crumbles. #3 $6 fkn dolares!!! Thanks for the experience. And they busted out in Spanish tongue to discuss it. Good thing I understand but it's rude to think that folks believe they're having side bar convesations they think you don't understand while right in front of you. That'll be...
Read moreI grabbed lunch here and was greeted upon entering. After I noted I had never been there before, they told me what their specialties were and the specials they had for that day. I went with the gyro platter, which came out to be $7.25 (no drink). A short wait later, less than 5 minutes, the food was ready. The only reason I gave service a "very good" instead of excellent, is because I asked for it to go, and when my food was ready, it was prepared to eat there. No big deal, a few seconds later I was out the door. I was surprised to see how much food I got when I sat down to eat, fries were seasoned well, fresh, and hot. Gyro was topped with plenty of onion and tomato, and gyro meat! Definitely could have made 2 gyros out...
