Hardee’s — Restaurant in Bonne Terre

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE august 18th 2024, ~11:10 AM, went throught the drive through to order two of the new chicken frisco sandwiches for me and my wife. Not only was the drive thru worker short with me over the intercom to take my order and when we pulled to the window to pay for our order, the worker opened the window and just told us our total with an angry look on his face, while arguing with his (assumed to be) girlfriend over the phone on speaker about some personal matter. He pulled us forward without any bit of manners, as a drive thru worker should have, continued to argue with his girlfriend over the phone, he came out to give me my order and i got all the way home to find out that he gave me burgers and not chicken. Went back up there to talk to the manager about it, she tried to correct my order after i clearly told her that we ordered CHICKEN SANDWICHES not BURGERS. The manager did supply us with a free order of fries per burger wich was appreciated, but got home for the second time to find out it was yet AGAIN, BURGERS! I tried to call to discuss the matter with the manager on shift and she said she doesnt have time to talk on the phone, to call back later.... This is by far the WORST hardees experience that i have had in a very long time. To hardees corporate, you really need to get your location situated. Get rid of the careless, bad attitude, disrespectful workers who cant stay off of their phones long enough to do their job. I will not be spending another $20 on two sandwiches at this location again. Very dissappointing. AVOID...

We ordered the 2 for 5 burgers. We both took one bite and looked at each other. The bun was hard, and the burger was dried out, and edges were hard. Cheese wasn't melted, and toppings were pretty slim to none. The condiments included ketchup and mustard, which were overbearing. The bun slid, and when I tried to wipe some off, the inside of the bun was already mushy. Which made me believe it had already been dressed and had sat for a while. And then reused and added more on top of what had already been sitting. At this point, I was only one bite in. After seeing and feeling the inside of the bun being as mushy as it was, and the outside as hard as it was and then the burger being Luke warm, dry, and crusty and non melted cheese, I went with my instincts and threw it away. I'm good on getting food poisoning from old food. My husband took 2 bites out of his before he did the same thing. We waisted money and were already back on the road...(traveling from Texas to IL) just as hungry as we were...

6:41pm Drive thru-ordered 2 10 pc chicken tenders and a calif gold chicken sandwich. Got home at 7:15pm both orders of chicken tenders were not 10 pc. I called, response was i could drive back and get the rest. I don't live that close. He apologized and said he would let the guy know. I asked what the managers name was. He said Konnor. Hmmm Since that was the name on the receipt whose he really going to tell??? I said fine. Count better next time. I am very disappointed with this hardess. Every time and I mean EVERYTIME I drive thru, I get home and something is wrong. You would think I would have learned by now. There won't be counting involved on my part next time. Because I have given this restaurant "enough" chances. Having "never" complained or called on the number of other visits that were wrong. Im done with Hardee's. I have other choices and will in the future exercise that right. I hope you do read this. Thank you...
