I’m only giving it two stars because the food was decent. They had one server covering every table who could not speak or understand English at a level where he can accurately insure that the bill is correct. When my party sat down (9 people) the table already seated had incorrect orders. I should’ve known something then but I gave him the benefit of the doubt. We ordered our food and 3 orders were incorrect. I asked for a small margarita and my mom asked for what I had. He brought me a large margarita which means he also charged me for a large margarita. When we got ready to leave our bill didn’t add up to what we actually received. We tried to explain to him that the order was incorrect and he just stood there because he clearly didn’t understand what we were saying. We explained that two of the plates were off the lunch special and should’ve been $1 more since we ordered it for dinner (at least that’s what the menu says). Because he didn’t seem to understand we just said forget it and paid the bill. It’s unfortunate that a lot of places are losing workers right now and my heart goes out to them but somebody needs to be there for quality control. There was no manager or anyone who seemed of seniority. First and last time...

I won’t be coming back here. It was clean and mostly friendly at first, but the cheese dip tasted funky as well as the salsa. I assume just different preferences. Then the quesadilla I ordered had yellow cheese in it. It was very greasy and did not taste like it was fresh cheese. I was assured that it was freshly cut Monterey Jack cheese (for those that don’t know, that is a white cheese). The chicken tasted rubbery. I couldn’t eat more than a few bites. When I asked for something else, that’s when the friendly service disappeared. I felt like I was being investigated. They did give me a new order and did not charge me for the quesadilla without me asking for it. The beef tacos weren’t terrible, but it tasted more like chorizo. It was good enough to eat anyways. As I left, the waitress’ smile returned and welcomed me back. It did not taste fresh or like authentic Mexican food. It was very disappointing based on my initial impression before receiving food.

One other positive: their portion sizes are better than most (again makes me question the freshness of product). So if you do happen to like the food, you seem to get more bang...

This was my first visit since COVID shut things down. I stopped by to pick up dinner for my family, went in the main entrance and ordered at the checkout counter. The young man taking my order was polite and helpful, making sure my order had exactly what I wanted on it. I got a TaMolly's platter for myself, a tamale dinner for my wife, and a plain cheeseburger for my picky eater. I was directed to drive to the pickup window, located behind the restaurant, and after waiting a few minutes, pulled forward and paid, got my food and left. Very convenient and quick. The young lady chatted with me as I waited, was very friendly and accommodating. Our food was packed securely, bagged, and included plenty of chips and salsa. After a two year hiatus, I was very happy my wife texted me to request tamales! Very tasty, convenient and a good value. We...

This was my first time trying this place. I was greeted and sat quickly. Chips and salsa were brought right out. The chips are of the thicker variety and the salsa is a mild fairly nondescript red. This wouldn’t be my choice if I were craving chips and salsa and the reason I took off one star. I ordered the #8 lunch, the Cancun Special. It featured a chicken sour cream enchilada, cheese enchilada, & a chicken flauta along with rice and beans. I really enjoyed this plate and thought the sauces were top notch. The bill was brought before I was finished which I really like. I hate waiting around on the bill. So the burning question that is the bottom line of restaurant reviews: Would I go back? That is a definite yes!

This great food and service every time I bring family! Remember to ask for Isa! This establishment is worthy of visit on food alone! The service and friendliness will keep you coming back time again. The atmosphere is relaxed and upbeat at the same time from the stucco mural embossed walls to the comforting clouds on the ceiling you will experience an eyecatching glimpse and feel of a south of the border restaurant. To accompany your experience you can enjoy a margarita or domestic and import beer. You will be comfortable entertaining friends and family as well as groups in their roomy party room. Trust you me you will enjoy your experience here and feel like making it your home restaurant, it is mine!
