Came here during Dine Out Boston and the lunch menu was $25. I ordered the scallops and bacon (with broccoli rabe, maple, harissa), grilled swordfish (with watercress salad, artichokes, kalamata olives, tomatoes, green beans) and the strawberry cereal panna cotta. My friend had the duck confit tacos (with bacon jam, pico de gallo, chipotle cream), bone-in pork chop (with broccolini, sweet & sour onions) and the all levels of chocolate torte. The waiter was very nice and acted quickly whenever we needed a water refill. They offer 2 types of free bread: olives and plain. The 3 courses were delicious and I enjoyed the scallops and bacon, and duck confit tacos very much. Well seasoned and flavorful. The 2nd course was also acceptable. The panna cotta was a bit disappointing since it had a taste similar to strawberry yogurt, but it had an abundance of compote and dried strawberries.

* Location/Time: Conveniently located near the theaters, this restaurant provides a great dining option before the show. It took us 1:15 mins for a 3-course dining with prix fixe menu in case you need to plan your time. *Food: We were happy with our food choices - see pictures with caption below. Duck confit was my favorite (also good size portion). Brussel sprouts did look a bit burnt but were actually ok. *Wine: They dont have French wine 🍷 by the glass on the menu if that matters to you. *Service: The service was quick and our waiter Eugene was very attentive. *Kids: Kids friendly and provide a little coloring page. The restaurant is connected with the hotel lobby so if you need a little “exploration” walk with your toddler while waiting for the food to come out - you have that extra space to explore.

I had breakfast in Artizian Bistro at Ritz Carlton Hotel and I must say that the food was really good. We ordered avocado toast, omelet, and Belgian waffles, and all of them were good. The ambiance of the restaurant is nice and the service is good, but there is room for improvement in terms of attention. The only thing that could have been better was the crispiness of my Belgian waffles. Overall, it was a great experience.

Our hostess was lovely, she sat us early from our reservation time because there was no wait. But our waiter ruined our experience… made rude comments to myself and my dining companion about our age (presuming we weren’t over 21 but not checking for ID or proof), we sat for 45 minutes without him returning to the table and our drinks were empty and we wanted to order more rounds but were unable to, and finally when we realized he never put in the ticket for our meal he came back and lied saying the kitchen was backed up even though other customers sat after us ordered after us and received their meals which were the same things we ordered. I felt he discriminated against us based on our age assuming that young people don’t tip well… but he has created a self fulfilling prophecy because after being talked down to and ignored and lied to, I against the advisement of my dining partner, left 5 dollars on a 215 dollar bill. (My companion told me to leave nothing) (and for the record we both were celebrating, and had ample money for more beverages and he would have been given 25% or more and had he would have been tipped very well if he had not behaved in such a poor way towards us) I will never go here again and will never recommend to another person to ever patronize this restaurant. I hope he continues to treat young women so terribly and never makes another decent tip again for his blatant ignorance and disrespect. Also… the food wasn’t even that good. Not worth 215 dollars for 2 cocktails, a chicken breast, French fries, a salad, and Brussels sprouts. Don’t waste your money or get disrespected by a French old...

I would have rather eaten McDonald’s. I’m not a picky eater. I’ve never sent back a steak in my life before tonight. Worst $190 wasted on a lousy meal ever. My mom and I went to the nutcracker. First off, she couldn’t even get a reservation online but instead had to call to get an 8:30 on a Sunday night. We walked in at 8:10pm and the place was totally empty. So why was it that hard?? Then our drinks took for ever to come out. Mind you there were 8 people in the whole place total. I ordered the strip sirloin and Fries. Worst piece of meat I’ve had in my life. I could barely cut it because it was so fatty. I asked the waiter why there wasn’t a more lean steak on the menu. He said “oh yes we have a filet but it’s a special I forgot to tell you”. (Well that’s just great considering he had hardly any tables and the place was empty). So I ordered the surf and Turf then in order to get a filet. 30 min later it came out (I ordered medium rare which shouldn’t take 30 mn ). Why was there a massive bone in the filet?? That is not a filet mignon as the waiter had told me. Unbelievable. I then just wanted a scoop of vanilla ice cream for dessert. It was possibly the most tasteless vanilla ice cream I’ve ever had. The new steak was $80 wasted dollars later. So our bill was $165 plus a $30 tip so basically $200 for food and service that I hope to never experience again. I can’t believe this is the ritz!! Just shameful and they should be embarrassed. Our reservation was under my mom Wendy so the restaurant can certainly contact us. Never again. I’d...

We came for dinner before going to a show. The hostess (I feel badly for forgetting her name)was very friendly and welcoming. She guessed we were celebrating, and when we said it was our anniversary, she midst have passed word along, because we had a beautiful (and delicious!) dessert presented at the end of our meal. It was a lovely gesture. Our server was Eugene Herban, and he has to be the best server I have had anywhere. He was absolutely wonderful; attentive, friendly, knowledgeable and made us feel right at home. Up front, he asked if we were doing anything special with our evening, and when we mentioned which show we were attending, he knew the start time and location right away. That small attention to detail helped make our evening even more enjoyable, we were able to relax and enjoy our meal without concern about the time. The food was amazing. We started with short rib and chorizo egg rolls that were so good, I would return just for them! I ordered the steak frites, the steak was perfectly cooked and the truffle fries were great. My partner is very often more critical than I am, and when he took a bite of the gnocchi in his lemon thyme chicken he paused and stared at me with eyes wide. He said it was one of the best meals he's had from start to finish. Thank you Eugene and the rest of the staff for a...
