I found myself at Caffe Paradiso with 2 of my closest friends, 3 aperols and 1 pistachio martini deep on a beautiful spring day in Boston at 4pm on a Friday. It was euphoric. I'm born and raised in LA, so I never understood the argument for people loving seasons. You'd rather freeze your bum off half the year than be warm year round? Yeah, ok... But living in New York for the past 3 years, I understand it. There is something about earning that first nice day after making it through a harsh winter that makes it so much more rewarding. You earned it. I imagine it's like going on a gnarly diet for 5 months, and then you have that first bacon cheeseburger. Of course that burger is always great, but it will never be better than when you've been starving yourself for months and then demolish it. There's also this collective energy in the air where everyone NEEDS to be outside. The entire city is defrosting. You can feel it. It's tangible. Personally, I'd still take the nice weather year round but at least I understand the argument now. It's always good to put yourself in someone else's shoes. It's the only real way to understand the world. IG @jnov_ Tiktok @jnov__

Great little nightcap spot in Boston’s North End. Cozy, old-school Italian feel with friendly service that happily welcomes families. The pistachio martini is the clear standout — rich, creamy, and finished with a scoop of pistachio gelato that makes it part dessert, part cocktail. The gelato itself leans more American-style than traditional Italian, but still tasty and fun. Nice spot overall — likely worth a 4.3-4.5, but it gets the round-down on the scorecard. Perfect place to unwind after dinner nearby — relaxed, low-key, and very North End.

On 06-28-2018 i walked over to the Caffe Paradiso after having dinner with a friend in the north end. Unfortunately if you dont wanna ruan your mood and get upset for the rest of the night after a great dinner and at the north end i WILL NOT consider or recommend this place to be in.

My friend and I have entered the cafe, set down on a table, the waitress came to our table, i know what i wanted but my friend was visiting from overseas, so i requested the menu for him. The waitress get the menu with an attitude. I was taking by her reaction as she was mad walking back to get the menu. We requested two coffee, she brought the coffee with an attitude. after few minute I ask her if she can provide us with two cups of water, her response was, You can walk to the counter if you want a cup of water or i can provide you with a bottle of water with $3.50 cost. So i have requested her to bring us the bottle of water, and i asked for her name, so i can file a complain with the management of the bad and unappropriated behavior of the waitress, she refused to give her name.

I requested to speak to her manager, her manager came to our table, and i told him to what just happen, his response was Yes, AT THE NIGHT TIME , THE Management wanted that way, so means you make an order but if you want a cup of water you have to walk to the counter from your table or you provide a bottle of water to the table. His response was yes, that is correct.

Asking for more sugar , the waitress through the sugar on the table, not handing in it or putting the surge on the table.

The next day I called and i spoke to the head managers named Diana, and her response was the same as the shift managers.

1- So let me be clear to the management of this coffee shop, it will be the last time that i stop by this shop, and dfanatly will not recommended it to any one. 2- If i need a cup of water or a cup of coffee that i was gonna help my self to, i really don't need to be in any place but home, and that is free of charge. 3- You don't expect costumers to be served a service with an attitude, you serving me and i am paying for it not the other way around.

For any one going to the north end and do wanna have a better service, polite waitress, good management, and have a great and good mood going home not being disturbed on a cup of water don't use...

I went to this place with my family, it was 8 of us looking to get a nice hot chocolate and coffee at this place after finding it on Google maps. I was the only one in a bike so when I stopped in front of the place a blonde older woman comes rushing out right away and very rudely yells at me to move so I told her I am but that I was going to buy something here so she continues to rudely tell me to move when I wasn't blocking anyone and was not even 20 seconds there.. she didn't even give me a chance so I asked her what her problem was and if she was the manager but all she said was that it didn't matter and she continues to shu me off...soooo effin rude at this time I yell back at her and left I've never been treated so rudely for no reason... If this was the owner she's a very unpleasant person and needs help. If it was an employee, that employee...
