McGoo's Pizzeria — Restaurant in Boston

I don't normally take the time to review places but this couldn't be ignored. I've been going to McGoo's for the last decade. They had great pizza, amazing steak and cheeses, and a wonderful staff that served it.

Today was the first time in over a year that I ordered from them, they've been sold since my last visit. I ordered online. I ordered the Veggie Special Pizza which consisted of "broccoli, spinach, onion, peppers, olive, mushrooms, and tomato " according to the online menu. I asked for no mushroom and olive, set my picktime and drove to get it.

When I got home, I opened up a pizza void of toppings. It had peppers, tomato chunks, and onions on half of it. I called McGoo's instantly to ask where my spinach and broccoli was, when I spoke to the evening manager he was very disrespectful, seemed annoyed with my phone call and talked over my sentences. I have never before been treated with such disrespect in any interaction with a manager. He repeatedly told me that the website was outdated and that was his response to the issue.

I checked back online, an hour later, and they had corrected the menu online but this time the list includes artichokes. I will not be...

i have never felt more disrespected ordering food yesterday 10/30/17 i placed a order my order was wrong i brushed it off today i called back to place another order giving this place a second chance food wasnt bad either who ever picked up the phone was a complete jerk i asked if he had pesto which is clearly on the menu he tells me no its a old menu with tons of attitude then hangs up on me i called back wanting to speak to manager he tells me he is the manager i feel like if im spending my money i should be treated a little nicer geesh if u dont like ur job QUIT!!!! other then that food was great smh i wont order from this place anymore until they get someone with better customer...

Disclaimer: I never write bad reviews but I felt there need to do so because of how poor the staff and food quality is at this "establishment". Not only was the food underwhelming but they did not make it in time and I ended up waiting another hour. Now, when I was getting my food, I still kept a positive atititude thinking that maybe they were busy and I didn't want to discredit anyone or anything yet. The man at the front, the same one answering phones, was so incredibly rude to me and dismissive to other clients at the restaurant. This place needs new management or needs to be shut down!
