There was a line to get in when there was plenty of room inside, they just want to make it seem busier and keep people cold I’m guessing. We waited in line for 40 minutes in the cold while the bouncers let people skip the line if they tip them and barely check ID’s. I could tell there were plenty underage people there. They charged a $10 cover but the live band was good and was the only positive experience. One of the bartenders had difficulty making simple drinks. The manager (or who I think is the manager) thinks he is special. Since it is a crowded place, people bump into each other, so naturally as I was waiting for my friends so that we could leave, he bumped into me and then I pushed back a little because I almost fell, then this guy with glasses and white hair/beard in a blazer (manager) grabs me and throws me outside in front of everyone including a BPD Officer who does nothing and then proceeds to insult me and my mother (she wasn’t even there). All I did was put my hands up, let him drag me out for no reason, look at him, chuckle in awe and walked away. I gotta say he did hurt me a bit and if I were someone else I could press charges or something, but it’s not worth my time. Also, being from Miami and being to proper bars and restaurants this place is trying to be something that they are not. It is a place where the staff doesn’t care as long as they get paid and get tips for letting people skip, the manager tries to act like a big show, the bartenders are rude, the bathrooms are disgusting, the security people who are 40 hit on 20 year olds (and sometimes force themselves on them) and underage people in their 20s go to drink because of the location and because their friends might go there. Don’t go here if you want good food either, we went there earlier for an appetizer and drinks before the Celtics game and the buff chick dip was very watery and the chips were kind of stale. Any other place around the same block/TD Garden area is...
Read moreWalked to this place with a group of 6 people. We just came from brunch our energy was high and we having a good time. We ordered one round of drinks totalling $101 and left a $20 tip. Two ladies in our group left for the airport about 30 min after. Now a party of 4 we ordered another round of drinks. Yes we're alittle tipsy and having a good time. At some point I decided I was going show off my recently developing planking skill. I wasn't successful and tumbled over, my two gentlemen friends helped me up. I Dusted my self off and we all continued to chat. After about 45min our two guys friends decided to leave. They're from the Boston area. We all hugged it out thanked them for showing us a round Boston and they were on their way. Leaving my friend and I who were visiting from out of town, two women. SHORTLY AFTER THE BOYS LEFT MAYBE 5MIN. THE BARTENDER HANDED ME $5 AND CHANGE FROM HIS REGISTER AND TOOK MY BEER AWAY. I was so confused. He said we were no longer welcomed there and needed to leave. NO WARNING. As my friend and I were trying to understand what was happening to us. Two guys I'm assuming bouncers came up to my girlfriend and I and said that they saw me fall and we needed to go. Why did they wait for almost and hour to acknowledge that. He said the we were the reason some people had left the bar. This place was dead when we walked in. We left confused and upset it was kinda SAD! NO WARNING. IT SEEMD LIKE THEY WAITED FOR OUR PARTY TO LEAVE ON PURPOSE TO APPROACH. It was all very cowardly and unprofessional. My friend and I work in the restaurant business . We both have been bartending for 17 years and our establishment and bartenders would never flag or cut someone of the way you did. There are steps. You did it all wrong. Sending over to Thugs to come harrass us. COWARDS. EVERYONE IS GOING TO HEAR ABOUT...
Read moreHad a pretty poor experience when visiting here prior to attending a concert. Everything started off with our waitress being so soft spoken we could barely hear her, followed by an awkward miscommunication with her asking us one question then us replying thinking she asked something else only for her to then walk away looking confused and without asking for clarification or taking our initial drink order. She also had an ear bud in one ear the entire time while serving us which must have led to her not hearing what burger I wanted. Not only did I get the wrong burger, but my Fiancés burger that was supposed to be medium rare looked like it had barely touched the grill because the entire inside was pink and center was luke warm.
The buffalo wings were decent but all other food was either wrong or inedible. It also seemed like things took quite some time to come out, even though it wasn’t that busy. Most annoying was the poor service from our preoccupied waitress who didn’t seem to care about our experience or her job. Can’t recommend coming here and we definitely won’t be back.
Edit: Brought my review up to an overall rating of 3 instead of 2. The prompt, professional, and attentive response from the owner is refreshing to see. Addressing concerns such as this is refreshing and shows that they want what’s best for the business and...
