PAYING CUSTOMERS TOLD TO LEAVE BECAUSE COFFEE WAS FROM DUNKIN
My girlfriend and I each bought food from two different stalls at Hub Hall. We sat down to eat it, and an employee named Martin told us we had to leave because the drinks we purchased were from Dunkin even though the Dunkin is in the very same building. He curtly told us we had to leave and would not reason when I explained that we were indeed paying customers and had purchased food from two hub hall venders. He condescendingly compared it to bringing your own wine to an Italian restaurant which is a hilariously audacious false equivalency considering that we’re talking about drinking coffee in a train station cafeteria. I asked for his managers card so I could give my feedback on the policy. He said neither he nor his manager had business cards. I asked for his manager’s email and he said he didn’t know it. I asked him if he could find it for me and he told me to “look it up online” as he turned his back on me and walked away.

During my visit, I indulged in the fish and chips from Sullivan's Castle Island booth. Despite its absence from internet and some maps (google), this booth delivers a delightful rendition of the classic dish, with crispy fries and perfectly battered fish. The interior of Hub Hall is uniquely designed, fostering a communal atmosphere where sharing tables with strangers feels natural and adds to the experience.

Read moreThis review is specifically for “Now Pouring”. Went for a Celtics game and had drinks here afterwards. We got a round of shots and our friend tipped $1 on his card and came over to us to get cash to give to the blonde bartender. She proceeded to flip out at the bar and say she wasn’t going to serve us and we “know what we did”. Meanwhile we’re standing there trying to give her a cash. She was telling the other patrons at the bar around us about it as well. How unbelievably unprofessional of this woman. We still gave her the cash and told her we were actually going to just tip in cash. She happily took the money but still refused to serve us. I’ve never been treated this way at a bar. This woman is pathetic and shouldn’t be a bartender if she’s going to be so emotional about tips. She actually deserved NO TIP after her ridiculous behavior. Don’t bother going here if you see her serving. Go down to the other bar where they’ll treat...
