I just wanted to start by saying I had a really horrible experience at this coffee shop. I was visiting Boston with my boyfriend and some friends. We stopped here for a coffee and before I ordered my drink I had to use the bathroom. There was a worker there, probably middle-aged with salt/pepper color hair who went out of his way to harass me on the bathroom line about ordering my drink before using the bathroom. He claims I should have ordered my drink while there was no line and I kindly explained to him I really needed to use the restroom before I ordered my drink. He was extremely persistent and wouldn't back down, continuously questioning me in front of the entire coffee shop. After I finished using the bathroom I got on line to order my coffee and he still went on to question me about using the bathroom before ordering my drink. I was extremely disturbed as to why this was such a big deal to him. He lied and said there were other customers that were waiting for the bathroom which was completely false because I was on the line and waited my turn. This man was arrogant and completely rude and disrespectful. I would never step foot inside this coffee shop again in hopes to never run into this man. It truly is a shame because the coffee was very good and the other staff...

This discovery was unfortunately very disappointing. In the reviews below people were commenting on this apparently amazing coffee. Also, the pics of latte art seemed promising.

In reality, however, the coffee is really bad - it’s not delicious at all, the roast is too dark and leaving the dark gold tasteless. On top, it’s served way too hot, which also doesn’t at all contribute to a flavorful experience but rather destroys the taste of the roast. This is why we only had two tasteless cappuccinos… :( Worse even you ONLY get everything served for to go, which means that their pics on Google regarding their coffee (and their pastries) are clearly fake. Very disappointing. If you are looking for latte art and good coffee look elsewhere!

The pastry was good, but served cold, even though we asked for it to be toasted. Hmmmmmm….

On top, the interior is rather tasteless and not cozy or comfortable at all.

The only positive point is the that the staff was very friendly.

All in all, this coffee place seems like a cheap version of Starbucks. If you are looking for good coffee and a nice experience, I recommend you considering other...

Excellent coffee and atmosphere. Update 11/29/2023: Been here quite often now. This continues to be an amazing place, my initial impression described below was, looking back, completely uncharacteristic of them. Ps: The speciality latte drinks offered are great options if you can’t decide - they might even do some art if you ask nicely when it’s not busy :) Update 3/21/2023: Came here a third time, service was excellent. Johnny recommended and made my drink (New Orleans iced latte), and it was excellent. Would definitely recommend it. Great staff now. Update: The first time I was there, service was super slow and also made mistakes on the drink order. Went back a second time and had a much better experience, with quick service and the...

Very nice local coffee shop in downtown Boston. Staff was very friendly and were patient as we tried to figure out what drink to get from the seemingly unlimited options they had. I was impressed about how courteous the gentleman at the cash was in asking (not just us, but everyone ordering) whether it was okay if their coffe had whole milk in it. Additionally, the staff was very generous in prioritizing my wife to change our 5-month old in the restroom with the changing table. The drinks were great! The smores mocha my wife had was unique and delicious. The butterscotch brownie mocha I got was also very good. We plan on coming back here before we leave Boston. Highly recommended!
