Poor customer service, don't seem to care about their customers.

Have been coming here for awhile but this recent visit was my last.

When the bill came, they seem to have changed to some type of electronic terminal system. I had ordered off the specials board when you walk in, the price on the bill was $1 higher than on the board. Not a big deal. I brought it to the server's attention and she came back with a $1 bill and didn't seem to care at all. I think it's important you properly charge the customers the advertised price. I'm pretty sure the next shmuck who walked in was going to be charged the same incorrect price.

Then, I noticed on the bill there was a $2 charge for "Dual Pricing". I had no idea what this was. I asked the server and she said "That's the credit card processing fee". I asked if it was listed on the menu and she said, "No it's on the terminal". Really guys?? You kinda need to tell you customers these things in advance. It's extremely unprofessional and just looks like hack job customer service when you roll out a credit card processing fee and 1) don't put it on the menu or advertise it to your customers 2) apparently can't be bothered enough to even properly name it in the system. A professional business would make sure all these things were in place whereas this just seems like someone thought "let's milk an extra buck or two from each customer." I don't have an issue with charging a credit card surcharge, but there is a right way to roll this out and this ain't it.

I asked the server why the credit card surcharge wasn't on the menu and she said "it's the owners decision" (which I get). I asked to speak to a manager and she said "there's no manager here."

Between mis-pricing that nobody seemed to care about and a hidden and mis-named credit card surcharge and overall careless customer service, no reason...

I have eaten here several times. I want to like it, even love it. I love Mexican American food, and would love to have a place that serves it in Boulder City. This past visit was no different than all the other ones. The food is very expensive, which I wouldn't mind, if the food was very good. I asked about the "specials". My server told me they had lobster enchiladas on special. So that's what I ordered. After forcing myself to eat one of the two enchiladas I was done. Very greasy and a strange taste. Definitely not real Lobster. Perhaps a Crab imitation? Imagine my shock when I get the bill and find out that these enchiladas were $28. $28 on special. I guess they are on the regular menu but they cost $30 normally. So I did save $2. So I have that. So my enchiladas, two quesadillas and another enchilada came to a total of $80. No alcoholic beverages, no frills. The quesadillas were appetizers. I don't remember but they were twelve to fourteen dollars each. My son's enchilada was so big it could have fed us all. there was a bunch left but it was all so wet with sauces it would have never warmed up good. So we had to leave it behind. As I think about it the drinks must have been three or four dollars each. the only take away I got, was that I got to spend time with my three sons. It was a birthday dinner for one of them. We managed to have good conversation and a good time regardless of the poor food. I will normally give a place two or three tries before I give up. This was my third or fourth so...

Been here twice. The first time the service was so slow and honestly seemed like we were inconveniencing them by being there. We ordered food as is off the menu, ( after waiting for 20 mins for our server) no special requests and it took almost 30 mins for 2 burritos. One the good was dropped our server vanished. Another 25 mins go by and we ask for our check. (Mind you we were one of 4 tables in the entire restaurant) literally 20 mins later he brings the check and it took another 15 to get our change.

The second time was tonight. We walked in and I noticed there was a guests credit card just chilling in the card machine with no employee around. I should have left then but no we decided to sit. When we were finally seated we immediately place our orders. (2 salads) 45 mins later with no food and the empty cups of water we were initially given when we were seated we walked out. There were 3 servers and a total of 6 tables. I would love to know how and who thinks this is exceptable? Not only are they over priced for the quality of their basic menu but the art work on the walls is covered in what appeared to be splashing of spilt drinks and an array of other things. There were no salt and pepper shakers and the table was sticky. I will never...

We walked into Toto’s and we were seated immediately. We got there probably around 3:45 pm. They weren’t busy and we were the only customers in there. As it got closer to 5 PM, more people came in. The waitress offered some suggestions on Margaritas when we sat down and also answered any questions we had about the menu. My husband ordered the Pescado Rellano I think it was called. It was different than what he was expecting but it was good. The sauce it sits in is a bit on the spicy side. You can see the dish in the background of one of the photos. I had a hard time deciding what to order and ended up ordering the Bone Marrow tacos. They were good as well. The carne asada on top was cooked perfectly and had good seasoning. However, it does take away from the Bone Marrow. It felt more like a fajita dish with the steak, peppers and onions than a taco dish. We each also ordered a hand shaken margarita. I got the Imperial which was delightful. We plan on going back to try some other things on the menu.

It's my mom's local favorite, and my first time there. The blackberry margarita was outstanding! The salsa and chips: some of the best I've had this year. Thin and crisp with a hint of salt. Tomatilla salsa and a pico-salsa blend... just spicy enough to compliment rather than overpower. Her meal was everything she wanted it to be. Mine wasn't. It wasn't because of the food, really, but rather the service was lacking and my food became cold while waiting far too long for the simple things I'd requested. The manager addressed things with the server and he really did turn the experience into a positive one. I'll definitely return to give it another try. They really know how to do the rice in a way that gives it a soft and fluffy texture with wonderful flavor.

Tucked away in the corner of a strip mall in Boulder City, these Fried Cheese Taco’s are something else. If you’re a fan of burnt cheese, and fans know what I’m talking about, you will love this spin on an ol’ favorite. The chicken is seasoned with the sauce it lays in perfectly and makes for a delicious meal. The green sauce was a bit bland and didn’t bring a lot of flavor to the table but the mild salsa was a tasty winner. I would suggest they work on making their tortilla chips vs. buying them for a true authentic touch. Great job on the tacos!!
