This is my first experience writing a review for a place because it was so bad. As soon as I walked in, one barista was on his phone while the other one just looked at me. Then, another customer walked in front of me and was served by the barista. (I don’t really care about this part but still- the worker should’ve acknowledged I was there waiting long before.
Second, I asked for an iced coffee with no classic syrup and the barista who took my order accidentally rang in classic for the drink but promptly told the worker making the drink that it would be no class. Guess what was in my drink, the classic syrup I asked to not have! I politely told the barista I asked for no classic and he looked at me and said, “no they told me the situation, there is no classic.” I then simply said- I just tried it and there actually is classic syrup. To then of course he just looked at me like I was stupid. Then I walked out….. I understand that mistakes occur as a barista (I’ve worked as one) but the absolute rudeness of this place...
Read moreI've never experienced worse service. The partner that rang me up was clearly new and didn't understand what the Starbucks gold card was or the rewards system. The supervisor on duty (Gail) walked past no fewer than 8 times while the partner at the register tried to figure out how to work the POS. It took 7 minutes for the transaction (i.e., me standing at the register with a line behind me), for which I ended up using a credit card because I was tired of waiting. My order was not taken correctly and the bill was $11 for a coffee and sandwich. I understand the sandwiches are $5-6, but since when is a brewed coffee $5-6?! I couldn't even get a receipt. I will never ever be back to this store. It's unfortunate this place is so poorly run since it's right by the 29th Street mall area...
Read moreThe new cashier at Starbucks said you now have to make a purchase to get a small iced water. That’s fine because yes, the open door policy has been changed to just paying customers. But I had been waiting in line and there were 4 free baristas just cleaning around the back. It says baristas can serve water if there not busy, it’s up to their discretion. Which is fine. What bugged me is the cashier was like I’m very sorry twice to me. I hate that she just threw that apology out because if she was sorry she would’ve seen if 1 out of the 4 baristas would be willing to serve me water since they weren’t busy doing anything. But some new employees just really don’t believe in exceptions lol. Clearly she was super scared and had no confidence clearly that’s why she’s not in a...
