Captain D's — Restaurant in Bowling Green

DONT GO HERE!! The floor is sticky when you walk in. We ordered water with our meal. The button for water in the pop machine is busted. We found a way to make it work. My husband and I split a Supreme Sampler meal. With a baked potato. The cashier was nice and efficient. Food came out fast, before we got back with our water. So, food was pre-made. It was all going OK. Then I noticed a fiber in my potato, at first I thought it was a hair or an eyelash, I took it out. Then another one was there. And then another! I saved the potato for last, so I was disappointed. I went to show cashier and she asked if I wanted another. No, I didn't. I just can't think about eating a different when this one had stuff in it. So, she went and got the manager. Her name is Kalaya( don't know the spelling). She asked if I wanted another potato, again, I said No. Not with it having stuff in it. She asked what Then. I said a discount on our meal would be fine. She said , "well, you ate most of it". I ate some of the potato before I realized there was fibers in it! She got lippy. She eventually gave me .99 cents back. I told her that was not good enough, but was leaving anyway. I couldn't hear everything she said as she went in back, besides that she told me to "Shut up!" . She is obviously too young and inexperienced to be a manager. Maybe she likes objects in her food. I, on the other...

So to start, the cashier was absolutely wonderful, in good spirits, and upbeat considering she was working the drive-through and counter by herself. What I later found out to be the manager on duty was busy carrying large jars of what looked like a pickled okra or something of that nature out to her car while customers were holding the door open for her. I ordered the Supreme sampler, my wife and I usually share one. The chicken strips were chicken nugget size, the fish was good, but my wife's baked potatoe had some kind of a foreign substance in it. Where she brought it to the attention of the manager on duty, a very young inexperienced lady, she started yelling at my wife saying you ate most of it, what do you want me to do about that. She ended up giving my wife back $.99, saying, we'll that's all you paid for it, and then proceeded to tell my wife to shut up!! So, if that is the service you want, by all means, go eat here.
