I just recently found Annie's Cookie Factory & Pastry Shop while searching for a specific cake for my son's birthday. I wanted to make my son's birthday extra special but wanted something different than Publix bakery. I was so pleased with my experience: I had requested a chocolate-chip cookie cake for my 6 year-old son's birthday the day before his birthday (I know I was pushing the request). Nonetheless, the staff was more than happy to accommodate my request in such short notice and updated me every step of the way! Not only was the customer service exceptional, but the actual cake itself was one of the best cakes we've had in a long time! My entire family and myself agreed this was the best chocolate-chip cookie cake we've ever had, and it's not even close... I ordered a special order birthday cake from Annie's -- an all lemon cake with lemon curd icing -- for a friend's 90th birthday party. From start to finish, it was a very pleasant process, and the cake was fabulous! It looked beautiful and festive, but also classy, and it tasted wonderful. The icing was a creamy, not too heavy buttercream, and the filling was a tangy lemon. The cake itself was moist and slightly dense, but not at all heavy.
