Olive Garden Italian Restaurant — Restaurant in Boynton Beach

TERRIBLE. My server AMAYA was awful absolutely horrendous. This was not my first time being served by her needless to say the last time was also AWFUL I had hoped not to be seated in her section but low and behold I was seated in the section of this moody uncaring waitress who could not care any less about me and the people I was with extremely apathetic and uncaring took 15 minutes just for appetizers ( a soup and salad as well as bread sticks ) took the same amount of time to bring our drinks in. There were two other tables and she treated them completely different probably because they were getting closer to leaving and of course tipping that’s when her mood completely shifts while eating our appetizers we could over hear her complaining about tax’s from her tip and BEGGING for cash tips to keep this short we complained to the manager because our food took almost an hour to get to us by then we weren’t even hungry and the food looked like it had been sitting under a heat lamp for ages needless to say we complained to the manager he came over apologized and comped our meal then after speaking to her for ONE MINUTE She came over to our table AND STARTED COMPLAINING ABOUT US TO US mumbling under her breathe that she didn’t understand and that “she was right there” the entire time our food was out she came over maybe twice not to check up but for our orders this waitress was appalling to say the very least it’s sad to see because I have been coming to this location for a long time and to see this angry girl who only cares about the tips that come at the end infuriates me literally the only moments she could give a damn about our party was when the tip was involved the only saving grace was the manager who helped us out...

My son and I stopped in extremely late on Saturday night 8/26/17. We were not sure what time they closed but we walked in at literally 10:55 p.m. and discovered that they closed at 11 p.m. My son had just finished competing in a very long bowling tournament out at Verdes Tropicana Bowl and we were literally starving, having not ate since before 11 a.m.

Once we found out they closed at 11 p.m. we apologized and offered to go elsewhere even if it was a fast food joint. They would not hear of it. They seated us and our waiter whom I also apologized to for coming in so late made us feel like it was not an issue at all. They were ready and prepared to serve us whatever we wanted and graciously. Our waiter was fantastic and I wish I could remember his name but he waited on us even though I felt terrible that we were holding him there over his shift. We ordered the salad & breadsticks and my son got a piece of cake to go. When we left at approximately 11:40 p.m. we were full and very pleased with the service that we had received.

I truly believe that had we gone anywhere else we would have been turned away or they would have given us an attitude about us keeping them late. I normally would never do this but we still had a two-and-a-half-hour ride to get home and we just wanted some good food to eat, not realizing that the day had gotten by us so fast.

Excellent service like this even when it cuts into their time that they should be getting off work deserves to be commended and it is truly...

The teamwork, professionalism, food, drinks and the staff were to my husband and I exactly what one should always experience when going out to dine. Listening also to the interactions with other customers was above all the restaurants we have visited since we moved to Florida. I asked that the manager be sent to our table as I wanted to shake his hand and to verbally communicate with him our true satisfaction even though I knew I would do a review. Best experience we have ever had at an Olive Garden. My only wish was at the time of my communication with the mananager my husband was paying the bill which only allotted me a certain amount of time to do the review there. My time expired. Perhaps there is away that this can be changed to allow customers to go back in to do their review right on site if that time expires as I would like this to reach the right individuals. In my line of work, reviews are very important. I encourage others to share their positive experiences as well. It seems that the general public only takes the time to write a review if something negative happens and not enough positive reviews happen.
