I visit store #4709 on a weekly basis..there were times that the employees customer service was lacking but everytime there was a manager or adssitant manager that would help or assist in any way to satisfy us. The food is always great! With that being said, i was especiallly appreciative and wowed by one of the employees tonight..her name is T.K. We had gotten off work late and came to order dinner to go..upon paying, i realized i only had a hundred dollar bill ( Panera does not accept hundred dollar bills, which i am now aware of). T.K.politely & humorously informed us of that rule. She saw our disappointment in our lack of knowledge of said rule and offered to help us. We would of had to leave and get change elsewhere. T.K. took action and stated she could change our hundred with her personal money. She had it in the car and asked her immediate supervisor if it was okay to go to her car and if we were okay with waiting one minute for her to go to her car. Absolutely!!! She ran...and was back in 30 seconds. That is an amazing example of customer service!!! Thanks to her quick thinking, she not only did she save a sale for Panera but also went above and beyond her job duities. The customer service is improving and we have never had a problem with the staff. They have always accomodated our requests. We want to thank the servers for always giving us extra cheese.....thank you T.K. for going above and beyond...
Read moreThe staff here are awesome!! They are friendly, kind and courteous. I have only good things to say about this location, but today I saw something that shocked me. I watched 3 older women reprimand a young male who was quietly eating his meal alone at a table. I was seated next to him and observed him consuming a large Panera meal. As many do, he continued to occupy the table after he finished his meal to do some work on his computer. One of the 3 women approached him and asked if he would leave the table. He apologized and said he was still using the table. Mind you, the restaurant was empty, except for all of us. The lady reprimand him and insisted "he couldn't be sorry" since he was choosing to stay at a 4 person table when he was only 1 person eating. The young man remained calm and again apologized. The 3 ladies sat at the table next to him and began talking loudly, while he was quietly trying to work on his computer. Of course, people come to Panera to eat and socialize, so there was nothing he could do. I'm impressed that he remained so calm and continued to do his work. He was a young male minority. The 3 older women were not. I'm not sure if race or age was a factor for why they targeted him, or if they just really like that spot. But it was shocking to see such rude behavior. I hope it doesn't ruin the Panera experience at this otherwise...
Read moreI am not one to write reviews but the service I had today was very frustrating. There was a lot of confusion with orders, long hold times on the phone, I kept getting the run around and there were missing lunch items. I went online to order lunch for delivery for my team today and was not able to submit the request on the website. I then called the restaurant to see if there were any alternatives, I was told that the system is working to try again. I did that and still there was an error. I then submitted the order as a pick up and called right away to see if they could switch it to delivery on their side. They simply said no that is not possible. I then drove to pick up the food and there were missing condiments and a sandwich. There was such a lack of empathy when I voiced my frustration, I spoke to at least 3 different people just to get this food ordered. When I finally got to a manager they said I had to bring the receipt in in order for my co-worker to get the food items that were missing. Mind you, we had a short 30 mins. to grab and eat our lunch. Eventually they just decided to comp. the order. I just wanted to voice this so this does not happen again to anyone else. We Panera but we just need this location to better service our community...
