We discovered The Bacchus Pub during a stopover on our Yellowstone adventure, and wow—what a find! This place oozes charm and character, with a warm, cozy atmosphere that just pulls you in. The food was everything you’d want from classic pub fare—hearty, flavorful, and totally satisfying. The drinks were spot on too, with a solid selection and reasonable prices. We came in on a Sunday afternoon and the place was packed, buzzing with good energy and conversation. It’s clearly a local favorite, and now we know why. Parking can be a little tricky since it’s mostly street parking, but if you’re lucky enough to grab a spot nearby, it’s well worth the visit. Whether you’re exploring Bozeman or just passing through, definitely make time for Bacchus. We loved it—and we’ll be back next time for sure!

Came here for a bite to eat, a cold drink, and some live music and wasn't disappointed by any of it. Had no problem getting seats at the bar and we were taken care of right away. They also had options for table seating indoors and out. Bar has a great Irish beer hall kind of vibe to it that definitely brought me back some fond memories. Cocktail to start was the Bozeman fog, basically a boozie London fog, that was quite tasty, but could have been shaken a little better. We split the hunter fries and the Mediterranean salad. The fries were basically a pouting that would even make a French Canadian blush with a delicious brown gravy, you can't go wrong. Salad was nice and fresh, and definitely a much needed lighter complement to the heavier fries.

When I visited it wasn't busy but took almost 10 minutes for a server to come over. Once she did come over she was friendly enough. I ordered the hyalite blush and the reuben. The drink was very good, but the bread on the sandwich was overcooked and there was hardly any sauerkraut. The kettle chips that came with the sandwich had a weird fishy taste and they were not good at all.

I would love to say I even got to try this place. We were visiting Bozeman and saw this place, so excited to come try the food. Especially since it's got great history. Noticed that though the sign said to seat yourself all available tables were dirty. Like covered in dishes dirty. It was very busy, so we patiently waited to be seated. So long a (maybe) bartender came up and asked me "Can I help you?" I said "Yes, we're waiting for a table, but they're all dirty" He then (very unkindly judging by face and body language) said "Yeah. You need to give us a minute." Ok, I thought. I wasn't mean about what I said. Listen I would jump in and clear the table, but I don't think they'd appreciate it. After about 8 or so more minutes of waiting, in which they obviously weren't going to clear tables, we left. Now granted, we came into a pub with our two kids, but it was 7:30. Perfectly acceptable for dining. Our money works just as good on food as alcohol, and in fact we would have bought alcohol. Double in fact, my husband and I have both been in service and would have bought alot and tipped great. That was an absolutely disgraceful way to run an establishment dependent on paying customers. Shame on you for a culture in this pub where this was acceptable, your management, and/or your hiring practice. Do better, it would only be to...

Being from New England and visiting many authentic Irish pubs...this establishment sadly lacked any "Irish pub" feel ( we had better experiences in AZ and PA). The drink menu was littered with "cucumber foo foo" drinks, that although sounded good...I didn't dare ask if they even made an "Irish coffee" which I typically order at every Irish pub I visit ( that should have been on the drink menu knowing they had Jameson on the shelf but it wasnt). The food menu also lacked "Irish" items, and the ones that were considered Irish on the menu like the sheperds pie that we had hoped to order viewing the menu online ahead of time, they were out of during our time of dining ( ok, maybe the food delivery was late...forgiven). I ordered a turkey club which was ok but falling apart while I ate it, and my husband ordered their "lucky #7" which was a bratwurst with peppers and onions...this was a sad looking meal because the size of the bratwurst was that of a fenway frank hotdog....the bun it came in was too oversized the the bratwurst. All bread, no "meat" to the meal.

The atmosphere felt like it was "trying to be Irish" yet had a "we need to fit in with the current trend of Bozeman"

I won't discount the bartender who was friendly and attentive during our service...

Nice try, but better luck in your...

Partner and I decided to go after it reopened, we were sorely disappointed. This was possibly the worst dining experience i've had anywhere. Ordered some drinks, curry fried, and a buffalo chicken 'flatbread' our server was rude and quite slow despite the place being about half full (we literally watched her sit on her phone behind the bar for 10 minutes while we waited for our check). but let me get to the food which was the most upsetting. the Buffalo 'flatbread' is really just a pizza and have no idea the reasoning behind calling it a flatbread. But it tasted so unbelievably bad. The cheese tasted borderline fake, the sauce tasted straight out of a can and the buffalo chicken tasted like they got it from the walmart deli. TERRIBLE! like a kids menu item from a truck stop!

I cannot stress enough I'm not a picky eater or one to complain or write reviews but this place made me feel like i had actually been ripped off.

Also there's no way this place is serving...
