When I say 5 stars, I MEAN FIVE STARS!!!
Jam was recommended to my dad and I to stop at for breakfast before heading to the airport, and I hope you take the same recommendation! The place is just a short walk from a public parking lot so it was easily accessible for us and only had about a 15-ish minute wait overall if even that. The place was busy and I clearly understand why now! It was a fun and energetic atmosphere with great music to wake you up and get you ready for your day! While the coffee and the food were literally review worthy, meaning I created this account just to leave this comment (THAT'S how good this place is y'all) they are so much more than just a great breakfast place! I ordered a cafe au lait from their espresso bar, which as a barista myself, was outstanding coffee and great milk foam, I almost ordered a second for the road! For actual food, I ordered the Crab Cake Benedict and my dad ordered the Red Chili and Corned Beef Hash, and oh my god. No words honestly. I wished I had three stomachs so I could eat more! We were only in town from Kentucky for a short weekend trip, and since my dad also ordered a side of toast to try with their housemate Montana Huckleberry jam, we jumped at the opportunity to buy their jams because we were blown away by how delicious everything was!! By the 4 oz, 8 oz and I want to a say 12 oz jars?
But here's where this gets good, and what makes THIS little place a true 5 star restaurant in my opinion. Because we jumped at the chance to buy some of the jam to take back with us, we did not consider that jam falls under the liquids category for TSA when we bought the 8 oz... you can guess that is probably why they do the 4 oz as well (do not make the mistake like us!). Tossing the jar was heartbreaking, so I decided to attempt to remedy the situation. So I said what the hey and sent an email cause why not? In return their manager Sara ended up going above and literally beyond her job duties! (Sara should get a raise in case anyone above her is reading this!) While explaining the sad situation to Sara via email, discovering the major logistics that come with shipping perishable items, and the overall sense of wholesome human interactions, I was able to surprise my dad by getting two jars, one of their Montana Huckleberry and one Strawberry Balsamic jams shipped from MT to KY! He had no idea that I was attempting a task that they in fact do not offer, as well as even trying to replace his tossed jam. It was great! I mean, that IS customer service if I have ever seen it. So if even all of that doesn't convince you that you MUST try this place out then, I hope the added photos just might be the final push!
Thank you to the entire Jam staff, from the waiter who helped us day of in the restaurant, to the baristas that made the delicious coffees purchased, and all the way to the kitchen staff that make the jam and to the managers like Sara who keep their customers amazed, even from as far away as Western Kentucky! PLEASE try this place out, I don't think you'll be...

We found this place had great reviews and an interesting menu. Was looking for both sweet and savoury as a last meal on the road before our final destination.
Parking was free parking two blocks away on the street with a two hour limit sign.
We didn’t have a wait on arrival but it was pretty busy. We were seated immediately. It has a chic modern vibe, slightly hipster but I enjoy this so I have no complaints. The servers don’t have a standard dress code so it’s nice to see unique styles shine through.
Our server was spunky and sweet. Very excited for us to be here for the first time- nice to see staff happy to work in an establishment and love the food they serve.
We ordered mimosas- I wasn’t a fan as I prefer sweeter but my partner liked it a lot. Their coffee was really tasty and came hot enough for my liking (usually places serve colder coffee for some reason?).
We ordered two breakfasts. I had the eggs benny sample platter and tried them all (minus crab cake). They were so delicious. The maple ham was tasty, the country gravy was tasty and the but the Mia was my favourite with the balsamic vinegar and tomato. The potatoes were perfectly seasoned and crispy- LOVED them. The hollandaise was flavourful. The biscuit base for the chicken and biscuit one was too dry for my liking. Thankfully enough to soak it. I also ordered the stuffed French toast with the REAL maple syrup. The French toast was brioche based bread which is my fav. It’s stuffed, but it’s two slices cooked together instead. The bread and toppings were tasty, but I could’ve done without the mascarpone filling. It just took away from the sweetness. I still loved it. And the real syrup was a ten.
My partner ordered the loaded hashbrowns with the country gravy and eggs. He LOVED the gravy. He also got the Elvis crepe and loved it. The crepe was a bit too sweet for me, but I’d always sampled all my things by this point and was stuffed so that may obscure my opinion.
The apple cinnamon jam was amazing and thick, highly recommend.
Overall this restaurant is now one of my favourites. I’m not from here but plan to return just to continue trying the good food and experience the good vibes of the establishment.

Read moreWere seated immediately and surprised there were so few patrons at 2pm on a Friday, as downtown was crawling with year end tourists etc. Waitress was quick and helpful. downside?... Hot chocolate came out just luke warm and an 8oz cup did not measure-up to that unless you counted the whip cream on top. Ordered the food and it came out immediately, as if it had been pre-prepared. eggs benedict?? hows that? Biscuits and gravy... just that. huge biscuits, not much gravy. again, both just above tepid in temperature. $11 plain pancake? ok I'll bite. It was big, but I've seen bigger at less. I opted for the 100% Vermont syrup for $2.50 more. it came out in a small 3/4 full pourer, not hardly enough to acommodate the pancake. Found out that their home syrup is the Vermont syrup watered down with corn syrup other. Rather pathetic that you'd upcharge a single $11 pancake just to get better syrup? (boy they are making $ on that) When I mentioned my disappontment to the waitress she just remarked "welcome to Jam" As valley residents this was not our first rodeo at Jam and in fact we have taken visiting guests there in the past. Not anymore... that was our last rodeo. Way to go Jam owners, (who also own Revelry and the infamous Dave's Sushi) All and all they have gone way down under this new ownership and/or management. Trust me, your guests, nor would you be be writing home to say you've eaten at what is now the wholly overrated and underachieving...
