Country Bookshelf — Local services in Bozeman

My husband and I are so impressed with Country Bookshelf: books, cards, and other items! For over a year, we have had to shop on-line because of Covid-19 and because we are in our 70s. The sales people who have taken our orders are knowledgeable, efficient, professional, and kind. They have not only delivered books to our Bozeman address but shipped boxes to members of our family in Minnesota and Connecticut. Our 2 year old granddaughter and 3 year old grandniece particularly love their holiday books, cards, and toys that are selected by the staff. We want to particularly highly commend Cassie for selecting such wonderful and magical books for our little ones. We are most grateful for this on-line service and look forward to when we will be able to shop again in person Country Bookshelf, our favorite store.

I was visiting Bozeman for the first time and was underwhelmed with the stores on Main St, but when i walked into the Country Bookshelf i was in awe. I love books and the esthetic of this place was amazing, it felt homey and had the new book smell. The employees were all very welcoming, and the one i asked for help was very eager to help me find what i was looking for. They even offered recommendations seeing as i only had a genre in mind, i ended up buying one of their recommendations (The Tattooist of Auschwitz) because of how passionatly they talked about it (very good book btw). Such an amazing a cute local bookstore right on main street. They are a part of the Montana bookstore trail and can give you a passport with a stamp and the other Montana bookstores listed in it which was pretty cool. I loved all the staff picks and even purchased a blind date with a book picked out by a staff member and was super happy with what I got. Overall, it was a great atmosphere and one of my favorite local bookstores I've seen in my travels.
