Wish I could give this incredible, local owned business 10 stars! The food was out of this world amazing. in addition to the high quality, delicious meal, was an extra treat to run into a fellow Texan during our recent pass through Bozeman. The best meals are a shared exchange and experience and this was the very definition. All of the staff was incredibly welcoming, kind and helpful. The owner greeted us personally and shared his story, a sample of his delicious feature on the menu prior to our ordering, and shared a few tricks of his trade in addition to his talent and creativity. The smoked chicken thighs were hands down the best chicken either myself or my partner have ever tasted anywhere, the sides were impeccable, and if you visit don't sleep on the spicy chicken salad-no matter how full you get, you'll find yourself going back for another fork full. Was such a treat to meet you all and have told all of our friends and family back here in DFW and beyond that there's not a spot in TX to rival Yellow House. If you are headed to Yellowstone, visiting Bozeman, or call it home this one is a can't miss stop for a melt in your mouth meal. Truly an example of the little things in life that make the journey. Great people...
Read moreAbsolutely phenomenal. Atmosphere was Bozemen feeling. The food is very detailed, house made, fresh and unique. Meat cooked perfectly and smoked. The sauces were to died for. We had the chili rice and cream corn both very tasty. Sizes come in 8oz or 16oz. Meat is sold by the pound, they will cater to whatever size. Based off weight. We ordered a half chicken and 6 ribs for 2 of us. We order drinks of lemonade and sweet tea, both very home made. The guys running it were very helpful and nice and happy to have us visiting their location. Dining available outdoor in back yard with lighting and tables. Such a vibe and every good food! This place would be a great place for a large crowd or catering needs. I would 100%...
Read moreEasily some of the best food in Bozeman!!! This place never disappoints - from the fusion flavors to the creative recipes and the amazing people who work there. They bring in wood from Texas, have some tried and true classic BBQ recipes, AND are always inventing new and interesting dishes to try. I love the Sunday family-style meals in summer and grabbing food to-go in winter. They keep you on your toes as they prepare and update new menus, and only make enough food until they are sold out (totally sustainable!!). If I could give this place 20/10 stars I would, but I’ll have to settle with 5/5. To the Yellowhouse team - keep up your awesome food, funky hours, creative menus, and great people - the vibes are...
