Holmes, if you haven’t tried Cholmes, let me convince you to try a burger that will bring you shivers to your bones. My wife and I have waited all too long to stuff these delicious patties into our needy mouths. Having personally watched this man conquer every culinary stand he has ever taken on, it actually didn’t surprise me that his newest project would be something as simple, and yet complicated as the smash burger. We had been waiting for the perfect time to indulge ourselves on these decedent pillows of love since the day he opened, and today happened to be the day. We walked up to the truck In anticipation, ordered our burgers and patiently waited for our name to be called. As soon it was, my wife, children and I all gave each other the “look”. It’s time to feast. Upon opening the boxes the presence of perfectly crisp smash patties took over our emotions completely, we knew what had to be done. Zero words until we had completely devoured every single last bite. With a nod of approval, and a lingering taste for more we hopped in the car discussing every aspect of the burgers. The meat was decadent but not overwhelming in the slightest, the veggies crisp and refreshing, the sauce only added to the meat without taking over flavors, the bun… to die for. My daughters exact words were” dad I scarfed down that burger”. And she did, like I have never seen before. This is what we have been waiting for. This is what Bozeman needed. No more hockey pucks from other “burger” establishments. No need for fries to fill a void. A++ to Cholms. I look forward to using your patties to cure any ailment...

Went over to grab lunch today after working out. Got a spicy double smash garden burger and an order of fries. The guy that took my order was explaining what distinguishes them from other burger joints and how they use beef tallow to make the fries. I was very impressed with his explanation and the way he conducted himself. For $6 you get a mound of fries, I barely got through half of them before I was full but I am looking forward to tossing them in the air fryer and finishing them tonight. It was the first time I ever ate fries that were made in beef tallow, the flavor is unparalleled to anything else and they were not at all oily or soggy, the perfect fry imo. The smashburger was also extremely good, great value for what you get. This has to be my favorite burger joint in Bozeman and I am very much looking forward to...

I recently hit up a Cholms food truck here in Bozeman, and let me tell ya, it was a culinary experience that could make even a mountain goat put down its grass for a bite! The smash burgers? Straight 10/10—juicy, flavorful, and so good I’m surprised they haven’t been banned for being better than bison. And the fries? They were so crispy and perfect, I half-expected them to have climbed down from the Bridgers themselves. Despite being busier than Main Street during a college game day, the service was fast and friendly. They had my food ready quicker than a Bozeman local correcting you on the proper pronunciation of "Gallatin." Seriously, this truck’s a gem—worth braving any kind of Montana...
