Finally made it over here after hearing good things from the bartenders up at Bridger Bowl.
Taking the trip from America's "only open air asylum" (Livingston), I stopped here with my cousin, but he was being pretentious, and wanted to go to a chain restaurant.
I asked why the heck would be going to Bozeman just to go to a chain restaurant? I don't want to be reminded of what Bozeman has become and sit in a new building that looks like ever other one..I want to be reminded of what once was, and still is, by soaking in the ambiance of a classic one of a kind place with character and old bones and history-so off he went for his NPC meal, And I stayed in ordered one of the burgers I had been hearing good things about, along with the few Modelos to pass the time.
The food was great, and the bartender was too, and there was an assortment of people of all ages coming through and going, some picking up food, some playing game of pool and eating, then leaving.
An older couple stopped through to pick up a food order, and the lady was sad they didn't make pasties anymore.

And then, I had a Lanny burger meal for about four dollars. It's the one place in town where you can get a Killer burger after 9 PM. To me, it's one of the few places in Bozeman that still feels like Bozeman from yesteryear... I'll never get tired of laughing at all the stickers on the sliding...
