UPDATE: After leaving the review below I got an impersonal (and apparently "canned") reply from the company said that I should go to their website to let them know what they "could do better"!!! Really? .. that's the best they could do or say?!? If it isn't already obvious what they could do better .. you know, lower your prices, make the burger patties bigger, etc. then there's nothing more I can add. It's pretty obvious to me that Freddy's doesn't really care about customers' opinions (unless they rate them highly). Well, this just seals it for me ... Freddy's will never get any business from me ever again. If you are reading this review I would strongly suggest that you carefully consider whether you want to give them your business as well. Read through all the reviews and make up your own mind. There are quite a few reviews from people who feel like I do too.
ORIGINAL REVIEW: Was a little bit disappointed in this restaurant as the food was just "ok" but nothing special. Reminded me of Steak 'n Shakes food with the smashed thin burger patties though a little smaller and thinner. And then French Fries are thin too just like at S&S. Plus the cost is WAY too high for what you get... a double burger combo is $10+. A kid's meal is around $7 .. just not worth it. Glad we tried it but definitely won't go back unless they would be done incentive or promo offered to...
Read moreAll of our food (hotdogs, burger, fries, chicken tenders) were cooked correctly and served to order. Now, if you're reading this, I assume to either haven't been to Freddy's before, or haven't been to this one before, so I'll address the easy answer first. This is a great location; clean, accurate, and friendly, so if you like Freddy's in general, go for it! Now, for new diners (are you out there?) Freddy's deal is super skinny burger patties, custard, awesome fry sauce (also great on burgers!) , and a funny hotdog bun. Honestly, I prefer thick burgers, because the greater surface area of the thin ones means they hold more grease, but these are tasty for this style. Fry sauce 100% (I mix with ketchup). The fries are meh. Super skinny, even thinner than McDonald's, which again means more surface area=greasier. Custard is excellent. The chicken tenders are large, but nothing special (also good in fry sauce). The atmosphere is fine, I do like their booth style better than others (looking at you whattaburger) plenty of room for your whole party. Fun facts about the owners on the wall, and the bathrooms are individual, rather than a stall type situation. Good location, decent food, ...
Read moreI came here after an appointment at the vet. I wanted to get my puppers s treat for doing so well at the vet. I pulled into the drive-thrus and there was a huge SUV in line then me. I'm not sure what the SUV ordered but it must have been a lot because it seemed to take quite a while. So I finally got to order and I ordered a mini root beer float. I only did that because I wanted the pup cup for my dog. The girl that took my order said that my total was $4.83 which is pretty pricey for a mini root beer float. But it was for my dog. Again I had to wait in line behind the SUV getting their order at the window. When they finally got done it was my turn and I pulled up to the window. Paid for my float and asked if I could get a pup cup for my dog. Of course she said no problem. I pulled around to park once I had my order. I got my dog out and we sat on the outside patio and I had my root beer float and he had his pup cup. Two couples came outside to eat their food while I was out there with my dog and neither seem to have a problem with me and my dog being there. That's fortunate because I wouldn't have left, they would have had to move to some...
