LongHorn Steakhouse — Restaurant in Braselton

Amber was definitely 5 Stars and I truly wish I could rate this place more just because of her customer service alone but the food is HORRIBLE!!!!! I mean it was bland, absolutely no flavor at all and some items such as chicken was undercooked, broccoli tasted like frozen water, the strawberry pecan salad was made with half iceberg lettuce and one side spring mix for one of my guests while she is looking at the same salad she always orders and I also had one that was made almost right except it literally had only one mandarin orange so tiny it was a speck not even a full piece and salad tasted water logged. The ambiance is nice but so dark inside it’s hard to view menu items the lighting needs to be adjusted slightly I get that most steakhouses have dim lighting but this is not good GM and Managers people can’t see the menu properly and my thought is sales won’t be good. It was so empty so they need to send out mailers to local residents because the bar area looks nice and there is a lack of good restaurants in area and the long horn at Mall of GA needs some serious cleaning because the carpet smells SOUR so my guess is this location could pull a lot of guests from the area with the hotels and the winery but needs some help ASAP. The parking lot is huge but kinda confusing as to where to go needs better signage to guide customers in the design of the whole shopping center is decent but the lighting of the parking lot is too dim people have to know the area to know it’s a restaurant there. Not visible from street as a business. I feel once these little things are addressed they can target a happy hour and drive more customers in and please please please hire a chef that knows how to season food and flavor that’s key I’ve worked in hospitality before and that’s major. Also I had ordered a ribeye and it was so much watery juice on the plate it was on the broccoli that was plated on my plate that was for my daughter who we were celebrating her birthday and my baked sweet potatoe was on her plate so I switched it. The tables were dirty that we were sat at as well. The shrimp were ok and the presentation of the food need work big time!!!! The spicy sweet and sour chicken bites were just awful they looked undercooked and barely sauced and didn’t taste good at all. Hopefully someone sees this fast and fixes these things my bill was for three guests dinner but I paid for something not so great. We ended up going to dinner as a make up to Pappadeaux on JC the next day and food was stellar service fast. I lost the way I was greeted I love the way the store was designed Western and I meant to say restaurant number two this is very important in my life the restroom while I was in there they were constantly cleaning the sink I'm like water on the sink cutting the toilet said that the bathroom restrooms were totally 100% perfect and there is something I like to share inside of longhorn they have antique pictures of houses and old cabins in the Jackson county area for instant braselton needless to say it cut me by surprise I saw this large White House that my dad bought years ago and then after he sold it this was in the late 1980 someone had bought my dad's big home and turned it into what they call the tea House and that's the meaning where women get together go on their drink sweet tea I've never been in there during these meetings but they share stories pictures and have little parties about selling candles or different little antique figurines but I'm getting choked up here you see my dad passed away during Thanksgiving holiday 2019 and as you walk into the door you take a right and look on the wall you'll see a large White House one has a big Bell in the front yard I like to feel to my knees because I used to live in that house with my dad a lot of neighbors would knock on my dad's door especially late at night and I am not lying I am a witness of something that I saw myself but some of the neighbors would walk up to my dad's home and warn him that the house was haunted at first I didn't believe it but one winter night I was sleeping upstairs I heard footprints going down the stairway and then back up the stairway and it's like her red one like maybe the door knob moving I open the door and having so fast there was an I couldn't image I cannot specifically tell you what the image look like but it was horrible it really looked like an old dead corpse of an old lady with long shaggy gray hair she really look dead and you talking about scared I don't know who left first me or that Old demon I never did believe in ghosts but I kind of do now but that's my dad's picture and it's my favorite restaurant the waitress are constantly asking if we want refills is there anything else we would...

I will no longer visit this location again. Danielle Spence, was incredibly rude to my friends, and I have to believe it was racially motivated. Every Monday my friends go to this location for lunch. Because they only have 30 minutes for lunch, they always order ahead of time so that their meal is ready to eat and then they can get back to work on time. They always call ahead of time and explain that they'll eat their meal when they arrive and Danielle Spence said that was okay. When my friends arrived, 2 black females, they were told they could not eat their order at the restaurant because they were taking space from the dining area. My friends planned to eat at the bar, like they always do, and there were only a few customers in the entire restaurant. Why was this time different? This is the first time they had met Danielle Spence and now it's a problem. Why? Longhorns will no longer have my business and I will tell anyone and everyone I know about how my friends were treated. You embarrassed them, made them feel like they did something wrong, and you were rude. If this was unacceptable and you didn't want them eating at the restaurant, they should have been told this over the phone when they placed their order. My friends are respectful and understand business. When they have ordered and arrived to eat their food and your restaurant was busy, they took their food to go. Your restaurant wasn't busy.
