I hate writing bad reviews but after this experience I’ll be requesting a refund. Especially after spending $45 (w/ tip) on take out for one meal and an appetizer.
(Service) Waited in the lobby for at least 10 minutes holding my 6 month old in a car seat before a staff member even acknowledged me. Multiple staff walked back and forth from the bar without greeting myself or the people waiting to be seated behind me. After someone finally acknowledged I was there, I was told to wait while a server sat two other groups behind me. (Food) The pictures should say enough but... the calamari was clearly freezer burnt and so over cooked and chewy I gave up on it after eating a couple of the larger pieces. Calamari texture was similar to chewing a plastic straw. Sauce was spilled out all over the bag, would have caught that before leaving if I wasn’t distracted with carrying the baby in car seat. Salad container was smashed and taped shut. Ordered filet and scallop hibachi, looked like half a filet and 4 scallops.
Lastly, when ordering I told the guy who took my order I have a shrimp allergy, he clearly didn’t notate for kitchen or it was ignored. 15 minutes into eating my lips and throat started itching and swelling I’m assuming from being cooked on a service shrimp was cooked on. I will be returning in person tomorrow to speak with management after recovering from a Benadryl coma. Would have included photos of entree and soggy veges but my wife gave it all to the dog while I debated if the allergic reaction I was having called for using my Epi pen.

Read moreI rarely leave negative reviews, but this hibachi experience was so disappointing that I feel like others should be warned. From the moment we sat down, things went downhill. The cook was not entertaining at all—instead of putting on a fun show like you normally expect at hibachi, he was just throwing food around and making a huge mess.
The food itself was awful and had no flavor whatsoever. My steak was supposed to be cooked rare but came out completely overcooked and dry. Nothing tasted seasoned, and the overall meal was bland and disappointing.
Our waiter didn’t make things any better. He wasn’t attentive, never checked in on us, and didn’t even ask basic questions about our meal or drinks. Speaking of drinks, they were full price with no refills, which seems very unreasonable compared to other places. And while I understand an extra charge for fried rice at hibachi restaurants, charging $10 extra for just one person’s portion is outrageous.
The overall experience was frustrating, overpriced, and not enjoyable in any way. I left feeling like I wasted both my time and money. I will absolutely not be returning here, and I definitely wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. There are so many better hibachi restaurants out there—don’t waste your evening...
Read moreOn August 5th, my family and I met at Ninja for my mother's 87th birthday. She has dementia. They flew in from Kansas City and Texas so that we could all be together for her special day, not knowing how much longer she will be with us. We arrived at different times and the restaurant workers at the front desk were rude, dismissive, and discriminatory against my family. My godsister is on a cane, is nearly completely blind, and has diabetes, my sister is on a cane and survived a brain bleed three years ago, and my mother is on a cane as well. My two adult nieces were with them. Even after we were seated, a worker, maybe an owner, hovered near the table. I guess they were concerned that we were going to dine and dash. No one was going to dash anywhere. It wasn't until I pulled out my debit card and easily paid for our $300+ dollar meal that the smiles and "courteous" behavior began to appear. My husband and I had eaten here before with two of our closest friends. They seem to have a problem with Black diners, so I won't ever be returning. I was angry and embarrassed for my family. They also need to update their decor.
To the owners: I appreciate the response to my review. I would like to have an apology to extend from you to my family....
