WORST SERVICE EVER FOR THE FIRST TIME!
So today 12/14/23 my son (13 years old) decided to have breakfast/Lunch here since he wasn’t feeling well and wanted to come here. Upon walking in a staff sat us at a dirty table with chips and salsa already there and I made the statement “if you need time to clean the table b4 we sit it’s fine” she said about 3 times (very guilty) “oh no, it’s clean I would never sit you at a dirty table, they just had the food sitting here” and she kept reiterating that about 2 more times after. So as I was sitting, I looked down at the table and what do you know, sticky coffee stains all over the table. A very kind gentleman walks over to my table after witnessing him being demanded by the (manager/Owner) where to take his orders. He took our orders. I ordered a grilled chicken Caesar wrap with a side of pancakes (2 pancakes) my son ordered the biscuits w/gravy Canadian bacon and smothered potatoes. He brought the orders out and my son had 1 bite of the biscuits w/gravy and immediately slide the plate over and hated it. (My son LOVES biscuits w gravy and orders it everywhere he goes). So I tell the guy server that my son does not like it and he tells the manager/owner and she sends him back to tell me “NO IM NOT TWKING IT OFF IF THE BILL BECAUSE NOTHING IS WRING WITH IT) so I asked to speak with her and he said sure let me go and get her. She comes to our table with an attitude and I stated my child does not like this meal and I will not pay for something that he hates and will not eat but if she wanted us to order something else we will and have no problem paying. She thought I was a goofy at first and said well nothing is wrong with it. I had to get a bit aggressive and explain to her that I am a business owner and had to also explain that I’m an expert at amazing customer service and I said by you being the manager you should understand great customer service comes with your position she then says “I’m not the manager I’m the owner and I lose money and don’t understand what he doesn’t like about it why let him order it then if that’s the case then I can refund everyone who don’t like something” I then said that’s even worse being the manager than you understand how important customer service in than right? So it’s about money and not customer service because without customer service skills the would be no money correct? Why let him order it? Because he knows what he’s ordering he like it he just doesn’t like yours!!!! The s*!+ is nasty TAKE IT BACK because at this point you don’t have to worry about losing money in this 1 item your about to lose money in the whole d@mn order because I’ll walk out if this mf and just say f you! I’m trying to meet you in the middle! Get me some to go containers, the bill, and I’ll be reporting this place!! She came back slammed the bill down on the table with the biscuits not charged (Thank you) and stormed off! Read moreI was treating my son out to breakfast after his ear appointment and decided to stop at Bialy's Pancake house. Well we walked in and a young kid greeted us and sat us at a table. There were only 12 people in the restaurant. While we were waiting for a waitress, I looked around and saw old dirty rugs, a dirty mop and mop bucket on the other side of the restaurant, there was crazy decorations all over the place. I couldn't tell if they were celebrating Christmas and 4th of July together, even though it was the beginning of June. We waited about 10 minutes , I was about to leave when the waitress finally comes to our table. She looked like the only waitress wanting to working that day. The other employees were hiding in the back of the kitchen. My son ordered the stuffed French toast with sausage links and I ordered the 2eggs, 2 sausage links, 2 bacons with 2 pancakes. To drink I had coffee and my son had a milk shake. The waitress came back with a plate of tortilla chips with two different salsas. I looked at my son like we ordered breakfast not lunch. Well the tortilla chips were hard,oily and no flavor. The salsa was horrible, no flavor, not even spicy. The busser brought my coffee and my son's milk shake. The coffe was horrible it tasted old like it was warmed up to many times. My son enjoyed his milk shake. Our food arrived my son's breakfast looked very good. But my breakfast looked not to good. My scrambled eggs looked not cooked, my sausage links were burnt a crisp. My bacon was too hard to chew. The pancakes tasted rancid like the buttermilk was bad. My son enjoyed his breakfast, except his sausage links. They were burnt to a crisp also.I didn't eat any of my breakfast. I had to use the restroom and that was no better. The restroom was horrible and dirty like no one every cleaned it. No hand soap but Im always prepared with sanitizer. As I was coming out of the restroom there was little kids running around. I had enough asked for the check told the kid my breakfast was horrible and paid. I don't how this restaurant is still open in Orland Park. Everything was horrible, the health inspector needs to come to this restaurant and close it down. DON'T EAT...
Read moreWhere to begin. We were greeted by a lady who looked exhausted at the door with our menus. We sat down and a crabby voice said "want coffee?" From two booths behind us Wife said "I'm sorry I thought you were talking to us" lady snapped back "I am!! WANT COFFEE??!!" Great. Here we go. Menu looked awesome...wife had strawberry crepes (fresh...not "glazed") I chose....country fried steak skillet Food arrives attractive enough but the crepes had an overwhelming flavor (cinnamon? Nutmeg?) And the strawberries were so unripe they were almost white...and definitely flavorless My skillet comes...and after a couple bites I realize...something is wrong...the country fried steak is absent??!!! Waitress apologizes and says they are going to make a whole new one...wife is getting concerned because time is starting to be an issue... I watch as she eats her meal...pulling out half of the strawberries...finally i get my skillet...with the country fried steak in it....two bites in and i wish they would have left it in the kitchen. It tasted of freezerburn...in fact the whole dish tasted off...raw hashbrowns with the blandest country gravy ever produced...but the worst part is there was a huge vein or gristle running thru the meat that made it inedible...I hated to do it but...."miss...this whole meal and experience has been terrible" Her: "no worries...I'll tell the manager" Waitress returns looking kind of sheepish "I told her about your whole meal experience and all she took off was 5 dollars...I'm sorry" Cant even come talk to the table? The place was fairly empty...cant do better then comping what basically amounts to taxes? How about at least the meal that was at first incorrect ,then secondly lousy!! I told her the experience was horrid...and by the glossed over, unimpressed look on her face she either 1...has heard it all before 2....doesnt care Or 3....BOTH!!! Reluctantly she removed the c.f.s. from the bill...and I left...to deposit the meal where it belonged in the first place...the toilet parting comments...I have been a chef and food service manager for over 20 years.. And lastly I STARTED A YELP ACCOUNT JUST SO I COULD MAKE THIS REVIEW!!! AVOID THIS DUMP AT...
