This was the absolute worst experience of my life. This one seems to be a training store, the employees come and go more than any other location I’ve frequented, but there are a few staples I’ve seen around a bunch. Today, I ordered on the app, and got there within a minute. No one is in line at the drive thru before or after me. I pulled up and explained I had JUST ordered on the app, we laughed. She had me pull to the window and then says “we only just got your order so can you pull back around?” Which in and of itself is ridiculous. No one else was there. If I ordered at the window, they’d have just had me sit there while they made it… but no biggie, I pulled around. Still, no one was in the drive thru, so I decided to park for a minute. As I waited, I got the notification the order was ready, so I pulled through the drive thru again. At this point, several cars had pulled in right in front of me. I wasn’t too worried about it, and it did take some extra time, but when I got to the speaker, the person (not the same person) asked me to wait. After over 70 seconds of sitting in silence, they said “okay what do you want?” I said “just the same order I’ve been waiting for ten minutes on “ and she said “you only placed it six minutes ago “ (which was untrue, I was looking at the timestamp…. They claimed they “only just” got the order when o got there, which was untrue too, so it’s likely their system is simply wrong, but what terrible customer service to argue with a customer over the speaker like that! So I asked her name. She claimed it was Natalie, but when I pulled up to the window, the woman speaking claiming to be Natalie was the only employee without a visible name tag. I asked for a printed receipt, and Natalie pushed the other employee out of the way shouting “you ordered online, there’s no paper” (you literally just click “print receipt” on the tablet to do it, she was just trying to make a point.)
I have seen this girl around before, I’m not fully convinced her name was actually Natalie (and again, she conveniently kept her name tag from being visible to customers.) There is no justification for mistreatment of...
Read moreHORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! If I could leave a negative amount of stars I would. I placed an order through the drive thru and the person in front of me placed a order for a few drinks, I saw the cashier give my drink to the woman in the car and the drink was given back after she was given all the rest of her drinks. Now I would think it would be common sense with COVID going on the cashier would make a new drink for me.. NOPE when I pulled up to the window she tried to give me the same drink! I asked her is that the drink she had in her car? With an attitude she (she said her name was Patty) says “uhh yeah it is” and I stated I did not want it since it was in her car umm hello Covid. She rolled her eyes and said do you want me to make another one I said yes and she went out of sight. Do I believe she made another one? Nope. She came back seconds later. I asked her for a receipt she huffed and went and got it and rudely handed it to me. I asked for her name she turned to the screen and said “ugh Patty” I asked for the managers name she replied while still looking at the screen “ugh Ashley” I will never visit this Starbucks again! Ashley you need to train your employees to have a better attitude when dealing with customers. I work in customer service and that was truly unacceptable. Patty needs to be retrained or let go of, I know places are short staffed but do better when hiring. This location lost...
Read moreHappy Sunday to me? Well not really…third Starbucks that I visited today. Started in the drive thru at Matteson, 20min into it I got my coffee made. Went to Orland park few hours later, wife wanted coffee so we pulled into the lot, 23 cars in line, tried to go inside, big sheet on the door “sorry due to calloffs we are only doing drive through.” Left there and drove few miles to Tinley. Same story here, line of cars wrapped around the whole building I try to go inside, locked!! Inside is full of people. After approximately five minutes an associate comes to the door with a sheet “lobby closed” and pasted it on the door right in front of me. I asked if I could just get a cup of coffee? “You have to go through drive thru, lobby is closed!” I asked again and explained my ordeal from Orland and Matteson but she didn’t seem to care much! “Sorry we are short handed and you have to go through the drive thru,” and locks the door! Absurd! Thank you for milking $6 a cup from me all this time, never again will I drink coffee from Starbucks! Zero stars for all locations I had to deal with today and all those previous times! Zero customer service, zero customer appreciation. Save your $$...
