Initial visit and the staff was rude. I came in for some soup. It was in the morning. I asked if I could please have a bowl of chicken pho. I had seen the photos of it outside and thought that seems nice on an overcast slightly chilly day. They said āFirst of all we are only serving breakfast and second of all we arenāt doing soup for the summerā and gestured to the sign inside that said no soup for summer. I didnāt see it. Thereās no need to be rude. Itās fine if thereās no soup just donāt tell me with an attitude. So I ordered something from the breakfast menu. The fried rice under the spam is plain and oily and the amount of rice compared to everything else is disproportionate. Two eggs and three thin slices of spam on probably 2-3 cups rice. No veggies in the fried rice or anything. Fork was stabbing through the bag because it was placed under the food and made a big tear. Definitely wonāt be back. The Philippino food and the service up the...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreSo I'm visiting this beautiful state of Washington, and I notice there is a ton of coffee shops, and teriyaki restaurants! While walking my dogs, the decadent smell of teriyaki permeated through the air and into my nose. It was at that moment, I knew I had to try it. Asap. Went to Chung's at about 7 on a Sunday night and although they were packed and very busy, we were seated quickly and the food came out fast, hot, and fresh. I ordered the chicken teriyaki which was so delicious, and the cabbage was very yummy as well. The 2 red dipping sauces at the table made the meal even more tasty. My SO got the chicken fried rice and it was the best we both ever had. Both meals totaled under $20, and we had enough for lunch the next day. Needless to say, we will be back a lot more! Great service and...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI have been here a few times, and everytime I really try and give them the benefit of the doubt. For some reason chungs in Bremerton cannot make beef Hong Kong noodles as well as the Silverdale location. The difference between Silverdale and Bremertons Hong Kong noodles are; Silverdales noodles are more on the drier side with a ton of flavor, and the Bremerton's noodles are soggy with a weird thick gravy like sauce that fills the bottom of the box(which makes the noodles soggy). Also Bremertons location doesnāt serve pho šš« Really fast service and friendly staff though šš¼ Either way, I still love chungs, I would just prefer the silverdale location over the...
