Arby's — Restaurant in Brentwood

I've had better. I usually ignore advertising, but once in awhile, something catches my eye (or ear). Arby's announced that it was going to start offering WagYu Burgers. I thought "What the Heck is that?" I wondered if maybe it was some catchy abbreviation for some advertising slogan like "Way Good 4 U". Turns out is an artisanal grade of beef usually associated with several breeds of Japanese cattle. "Kobe" is a type of WagYu. It refers to the amount of marbling in the beef. USDA grades fit into the second row of the photo below. WagYu grades are in row 3 or 4. Now there is "American Wagyu", "Montana Wagyu", "Australian" etc. For this amount of marbling, my burger was surprisingly tasteless and dry and overwhelmed by the bun and "secret sauce". For a good burger, go to a specialty burger place, not somewhere know for beef sliced on a microtome. If Arby's is going to offer something that is "supposedly" so special, perhaps it should explain why it is "supposedly so special". Then it should deliver on what it promises. Apparently they can only handle 1 customer at a time. They don’t bother to say anything to you as you sit at the speaker at the drive thru for several minutes. The guy before me in the drive thru said hello twice, didn’t get any response & went ahead to the window. I sat at the speaker for several minutes & got nothing so I proceeded to the window. The guy in front of me got his order & I pulled up. The female at the window asked if I was picking up an order. I said no, she said I’m not taking orders at the window. Wtaf? Alicia and the rest of the crew were very cordial and efficient all the food was made fresh and I asked about the jamocha shake and she gave me a small taste. There were a lot of deals going on and they told me about it. I was there for a gift card and she helped me with that it was a very good visit. They had a 2 for $7 deal I got the fish and the roast beef and I also get a order of jalapeno poppers. They had cream cheese in them and I thought they were going to have regular nacho cheese in them so I gave them to my child. And she also had boneless buffalo wings and fries and those were really good so good...
